What can I say, how can I describe this gorgeous Eau de Parfum from Yves Saint Laurent!
I love it!
I find everything so difficult to describe, I think you will just need to try it yourself to understand what I mean.
Packaging is a rectangular slate-coloured-with a hue-of-hidden-pink, box with "Black Opium" very visibly written in the middle, as well as the YSL Logo in a sparkly grey colour.
Inside the box is where the "WOW" is to be discovered. An oval 50ml glass bottle with a black spray top. The bottle, in similar slay-grey as the packaging, has a rough feel to it with an indented smooth circle in the middle with the words "Black Opium Yves Sant Laurent" displayed.
The fragrance would be difficult for me to describe also if I did not read the above information. I'd say it's a mixture of floral and fruity but the florals are the front notes, at least that is how I would describe it.
It is not a heavy perfume and although I wear it during the day it would definitely also be more than perfect to wear in the evening or any major occasion. The fragrance lingers on for hours. I love it!
"Floral Shock" was given to me by BeautyHeaven as part of a Goody Box and it's one of my favourite products that was included. I would love to have a Shower Gel and Body Lotion in the same fragrance and I'm off to the Department store to see (wishful thinking) if these indeed are available.
Thank you BH for allowing me to 'trial' this most wonderful fragrance. It is one, that I would purchase myself or a fragrance that I would have on my 'wish list' for Birthday, Mother's Day, Christmas, Anniversary........or just 'Because' :)
Tips
I would not call this a 'Girly Fragrance' - but all you very young ladies, go and have a sniff at any Counter that sells this amazing Perfume anyway.
Before you head out the door for an evening, spray a little over your hair.
