I received this product in the Autumn Discovery Bag. The pack contains three masks; rose, gold and cucumber and also an application brush. Each jar contains 50ml of product and they are quite brightly coloured in the jar. I have used each mask twice and there is still a heap of product left for each mask so you do get plenty of use out of the products.
Before considering each mask, a general comment on my skin – I am now in my late 20’s and have fairly clear skin with my main problem area being blackheads on my nose. I’ve not started having lines or wrinkles yet but it is something I am very conscious of wanting to prevent at this stage in life! With that in mind, I now turn to commenting on each mask.
Rose Face Mask – this mask is described as being designed to improve the health and appearance of the skin. The mask contains rose oil and is an anti-inflammatory agent and tissue regenerator. In the jar the product is pink and I had expected it to be scented however it was completely scentless. On application, it was clear and applied easily. On the skin it was cool and had a gel texture, which did not completely harden or dry while wearing for the recommended 15 minutes. It washed off easily and left my skin feeling hydrated.
Gold Face Mask – the gold mask if an anti-aging treatment infused with gold extract, designed to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It offers intense hydration to revlitalise, smooth and soften the skin. As with the other masks it appeared coloured (gold) in the jar but applied as a clear gel product. The day after using the gold mask my skin felt really hydrated and was ‘glowing’, which was a great result.
Cucumber Face Mask – this mask is intended to draw out dirt and impurities from your clogged powers and lifts away dead skin cells. The cucumber extract soothes and cools skin and helps ease puffiness, leaving skin feeling smooth and silky. This mask is green in the jar but again applies as a clear, scentless gel when applied. Like the rose face mask it felt cooling and didn’t completely harden or dry. Once I washed the mask off my skin felt soft and hydrated but I didn’t notice any real detoxifying impact however this may be more apparent on more problematic skin.
Of the three, the gold mask is the only one I would repurchase as it seemed to be the best match for my skin.
