MOR Botanicals Bergamot + Blackcurrant Eau De Parfum
I received in the Winter Warmers Discovery Bag. The cardboard packaging is subtle and plain but this appealed to me – subdued colours with botanical plants on the front. The glass bottle is also plain – sometimes less is more (or MOR) and again I liked it.
I always keep my perfume in the box anyway and not one to leave it out on display – ‘pretty’ bottles are wasted on me.
I’ve used a few MOR body products and found them highly fragranced and a bit sickly and was not aware they had actual perfume but this MOR Botanicals range is far more subtle than their body and hand creams I’ve used.
Bergamot and Blackcurrant by name wouldn’t appeal to me.– however reading the full description of “Fresh Sicilian Bergamot and Blackcurrant Liqueur blend effortlessly with sweet Neroli and Jasmine, while soft and smooth Patchouli and Vanilla give the fragrance an undeniable warmth” is more appropriate and appealing to my sense of smell.
I applied a light spray in the morning to my outer clothing – I never spray directly on my skin. I find the aroma lasts all day – even picking up my top the next morning to wash – I can still smell it.
Perfume is very individual and this was definitely a scent I loved and I will continue using throughout winter and beyond. I’d like to test some of their others in this range – I just know I’d love the Orange Blossom + Tobacco Leaf.
I’m atrocious at picking notes in a perfume so below is what is on their website for those who know their notes.
Top Notes: Sicilian bergamot, Mandarin, Blackcurrant liqueur
Heart Notes: Rose de Mai, Neroli, Egyptian jasmine, Freesia
Base Notes: Patchouli, Woods, Amber, Orcanox, Vanilla
Price is appropriate and what I would expect to pay.
