A definite game changer for oily-combo skin types!

Having really oily skin means I have a very difficult time with most creams or moisturisers, most are too rich and moisturising, and tend to always rub off upon application without absorbing properly, which is super annoying! The texture of this aqua cream was so different. I only needed a tiny amount, it absorbed like a dream, deeply hydrating my skin without leaving it feeling heavy or greasy, and with the loveliest scent of gentle Gardenia flower! Left my skin deeply hydrated yet never greasy. Soft and smooth like velvet. No added silicones or nasties also meant it didn't rub off on me. Just gorgeous, natural ingredients. Aqua Cream comes in a large tub with the same blue and white packaging - it's a gel cream texture tinted a pretty light blue colour. It comes in a large, easy to open jar, however it didn't come with a spatula, so you'll have to use one of your own, or if you don't have one simply dip a cotton bud in it like I did, to avoid risking contamination. I normally don't like creams in tubs for this reason, but the pretty light blue tint and lovely scent made up for it. It says to apply a blueberry sized amount to face and neck, but I found after using the essence, my oily skin was so hydrated that I needed even less than that. I'm a huge lover of aromatherapy, and found this beautiful light scent so relaxing, gentle and lovely, it instantly put my mind at ease, and wasn't overwhelming at all. I kept this product in the fridge as the weather is heating up here, and when I applied it in the morning or at night as a bonus my skin felt so cool and relaxed. I also loved that I could still apply my normal SPF 15 lotion over it for daytime use, and it also layered well with other my skincare, such as my BHA gel since I have acne prone skin. This never exacerbated my oily skin problems though. I will definitely continue to use this especially as I often forget that oily skin types can be dehydrated too. Highly recommended for oily skin!

Tips

Use sunscreen or your usual SPF moisturiser over the top of it for daytime use. Keep product in the fridge during warmer weather, it gives your skin an extra cooling and refreshing effect on hot days, and you don't want those amazing ingredients going bad in the heat.

Ideal for

All skin types but particularly oily that can't handle thick, greasy moisturisers.
