I picked up 3 Revitalift products on sale at my local supermarket when there was a half price sale - the Day Cream, Filler Night Cream and Concentrated Serum and later bought the Revitalift Wipes. I recognise that my overall results are actually probably due to using a complete system.
Packaging - The Revitalift Day Cream comes in a red and white box labelled Age 40+, stating that it contains Advanced Pro-Retinol and Fibrelastyl and that the 1st measurable results could be expected in 7 days. So I took before photos incase I couldn't see what 10% firmer skin and 18% smoother skin looked like. By 4 weeks I might also want to see what up to 26% reduction in forehead wrinkles, 13% nasolabial folds and 13% in crow's feet might look like!
I like that L'Oreal says that it is 'committed to a world without animal testing' but I couldn't find the cruelty free logo I'm used to seeing on cosmetic boxes. I also couldn't find any mention of an SPF rating on the box - so a good SPF protection is a must to add into the regime. I use and SPF50. This range of products include pro-retinols - I'm not sure if they act the same as retinols, but use sunprotection anyway!
The jar itself is a solid white glass 50mL jar with the red Revitalift stripe and an inner lid.
Product - A mildly L'Oreal scented slightly pink cream. Definitely thicker than a lotion. It is a dip pot, I always have clean hands before I stick my finger in. It isn't too greasy and doesn't take long to sink in. There is no irritation at all for my sensitive skin.
Results and Overall Review - I was quite amazed within a week there was definitely an improvement in my skin's texture and firmness. Especially around my mouth and nasolabial folds. My forehead wrinkles aren't that bad, so I didn't get much of a change there. My Crow's Feet look softer around the edges, if not a bit shallower. So I'd say yes, there was definitely an improvement by the 4 week mark, and the results continued to be maintained throughout the next few weeks while I'm using the full range of the products (Serum, Day Cream and Night Cream).
It's been 8 weeks so far and I have almost used the 30 mL of Concentrated Serum but still have about 1/2 the 50mL jar of Day Cream, which is to be expected because I use the Day Cream once a day and Serum twice a day.
My sensitive skin coped very well with using all of the products together, and I even use my regular Vitamin C serum and have used an AHA mask once during the 4 weeks.
