I've had this Claw Grip from Lady Jayne in both the small, medium and large variety and currently I have it in the large variety. I also have the super hold variety which I currently have in the small and large variety which I believe looks a bit more elegant in appearance (you can see the reviews for this product elsewhere on the BeautyHeaven website).
The Lady Jayne claw grips are better quality than the generic no brand or cheaper varieties, the plastic is smoother, they have no rough edges which may grab and pull on hair or scratch your scalp and they are not prone to breakage so one can last many years even with abuse.
These clips are versatile and you can use them to achieve so many different look within a couple of seconds, just twist your hair and clip it in place or pull it back and clip it in place.
If you need to clean the house and your hair it out, no worries in seconds your hair is out of your face and security held back. Need to wash your face? same deal, in seconds your hair is out of your face.
I have this one easily accessible at home so that I can grab it at any moment to pull my hair up as it has easy to use grips on the back of the claw. The hold is sturdy but if you are looking for the best hold you can get, go for the super hold variety which has smaller grips on the back to use to secure the claw which I am more likely to use when leaving the house as I find it looks nicer too.
