I've been using this Quinine and B Vitamins trio of shampoo, conditioner and scalp treatment for the past few months, and honestly, I don't think they've done much for my hair at all.
The first product I used of the trio was the conditioner, because I'd run out of my previous one, a Schwarzkopf keratin one, which left my hair looking soft and shiny. I was still using the Schwarzkopf shampoo - which, even without the conditioner, kept my hair soft and silky - when I started using this conditioner. The first few times, my hair was less shiny, more straw-like. Over time, it got softer, but not shiny nor silky.
The conditioner is only slightly gloopy, but feels runny when I'm trying to apply it to my hair, always resulting in some product dropping to the ground, but it washes off without an issue. I do love the scent, though. It's so earthy and herbal and soothing without being medicinal. My senses come alive when I apply this conditioner in the steamy shower with its beautiful pink colour and herbal fragrance.
In terms of hydration, this conditioner is definitely lacking. In terms of strengthening, I don't know. My hair is breaking less, maybe, but I also got a haircut around the time I started using this range. My hair is still falling at the same rate as before, but the conditioner is not supposed to deal with the hair fall - the other two products are.
The upside-down tube packaging would have been ideal if it weren't for the very sharp edge of the seal indentation, which is a health hazard if you want to actually open the tube. Twice, the back of my thumb caught on it and bled out a lot; the second time, it cut more deeply and took weeks to heal, which at least reminded me not to snap the tube shut, so I don't have to open it and go through the ordeal again.
Overall, this is a pretty average conditioner - maybe even underperforming, considering the price. The scent and colour did appeal to my senses, though.
