Colour Treated: Yes, and has been bleached
The item just comes as is, no box to through away and the bottle itself has a clean finish and a simple design. The product is distributed from a pump action which comes with a lid to protect the applicator. I love the scent of this creme, wonderful to use in the morning as it is a revitalising citrus scent
It's easy to control amount although it is pump action, this may be because the creme is of a gel-like consistency, easy to distribute through the hair and best to distribute product over hands first to ensure even application. I run my hands and fingers through my hair and scrunch as I go and let it air dry, as my hair is quite long and heavy if I blow dry it my hair can be pulled to be straight. The product leaves a residue on the hands that is a little sticky but it is easily washed off.
I could tell the product was in my hair and as the residue on the hands showed it created a little crunch, this is what I am used to with curling products so nothing too out of the ordinary so it is best to ensure you have a light even application when applying. If you want something that will sleek your hair I wouldn't recommend this as it helped with texture and to help hold the curl.
This product really helped my hair regain it's curlier form, as it's so long I've lost a lot of my natural curl and it remains wavy (or straight if I brush it out wet and leave as is). The curls last and even when brushed out it keeps a nice natural wave, it also helped tame frizz which scrunching can sometimes cause. I haven't used any heat styling to curl my hair but I have really enjoyed the results from a natural air dry so far.
