Off the bat I will say there are sweet, nutty lovely coconut scent then there are those overpowering cloying fake coconut scents and those ones makes my stomach churn. I have used (and loved) the intense conditioner sachets in the range and totally loved them, they left my hair feeling fantastic and the scent was good.
Oh boy, this set is nothing like that. This shampoo however is a little better, it has more that sweet summery tropical coconut scent but that is sadly let down when you use the matching conditioner, it's gag-inducing to say the least. This shampoo was ok, wasn't wonderful but wasn't entirely awful either, just ok.
It cleans well given that it is sulphate free it lathers fairly well and doesn't leave my hair feeling stripped or hard. That's about it really, you expect to finish off with a great performance of the matching conditioner but it is horrible. Maybe use the shampoo and follow with the intense conditioning sachets, the matching conditioner was too strongly scented for me and I gave the duo away after the first use.
It is made in the USA if that is important for you.
