I loved the idea of this in theory, but in practise it was'nt so good. It's a very hard and stiff bar. I hoped after a few uses and a bit of water it would soften a little bit, but it did'nt. The instructions tell you to drag it down the lengths of freshly washed hair, I had to apply a lot of pressure when doing this to get the conditioner into my hair, which I really did'nt like, hair is more fragile when wet. My hair is dry at the ends, it's very porous and prone to splitting. I supported my hair with the palm of my hand as I dragged the bar down the lengths. I feels very different from traditional liquid conditioners as you can't really feel any product in your hair. It is not that creamy feeling you get when you apply conditioner from a bottle. My hair did'nt feel coated or full of product. So this might be good for people with fine or limp hair that does'nt need to be weighed down, It did feel better than simply washing it and doing nothing afterwards, but my hair was not conditioned enough. It is not suitable for hair that is dry, brittle or damaged in my opinion.
