I've been really enjoying Glow Lab's Age Renew Soothing Day Cream but it has been really sunny lately and I feel like I need a sun cream. Most sun creams break me out those so having an all-in-one moisturiser that is both hydrating and good for the skin and also provides sun protection is great. This one goes on lightly, absorbs quickly, and keeps the skin feeling very soft all day. You can put makeup on pretty much straightaway or go makeup free knowing the skin is protected. It has a beautiful delicate citrus scent probably from all of the essential oils it contains (orange, lemon, lime, bergamot, spearmint and cedar wood), and you can feel it working all day long. I love that it's got high quality ingredients in it that are good for my skin - like sunflower and coconut oils, shea butter and vitamin E, but also provides high quality sun protection (I looked it up and the active ingredient Tris-Biphenyl Triazine is a new ultra-violet filter that provides the the most efficient broad spectrum UVB and UVA2 protection. The small dark jar is very attractive and sleek and fits nicely in most spaces and is also portable, dispensing just the right amount of product hygienically. Of course like all Glow Lab products it ticks a lot of boxes - made in NZ (close enough to call it local), of mostly natural ingredients that are high quality, cruelty-free, and sustainably produced. They aren't the cheapest products on the market but they're also not outrageously priced and are available in most supermarkets and pharmacies. SPF 15 is a little lower than I tend to use, but for my face, and as a general everyday moisturiser, particularly for those looking for anti-aging ingredients that are actually good for the skin long term, this is a winner.
