I wasn't particularly impressed with Essano Rosehip Body Lotion, so I have lowered my expectation on Essano before I start using this product. To my surprise, I actually quite like this variation of the body lotion, mainly due to the smell
One of the best scented body products I have used was from the Hyatt Resorts when I was in Hawaii. The coco-mango signature scent of their spa product is one of the most amazing scent that I have smelt. When I opened this body lotion, it reminded me of that. The scent has a coconut base, yet with top notes of mango and pineapple - overall, a sensational tropical smell
As to the texture, I found that quite waxy, and will need effort and time to "rub" the lotion into the skin. This is similar to the other Essano body lotion that I have tried. I can't say that I am a fan of this texture, but I can compromise on that for the smell
The hydration is quite light - it would be much more suitable for summer than for winter. It has some amazing ingredients in it such as coconut oil, mango, papaya and pineapple extract, linseed oil, macadamia oil, avocado oil and argan oil - it's a cocktail. I just wish it uses a less waxy base.
