Packaging: the duo is packaged into 50mL each which is fantastic for travel. I used them up at home anyway because I wanted to try these products. The bottles are screw caps which means that the opening is rather big. I do not believe it is the best packaging for the products (the shampoo is quite runny, and the conditioner is very thick and difficult to shake it out). The contents are okay, but the shampoo is more suitable for dry hair and the conditioner is more suitable for oilier hair (see below). Overall I do think that the products are what I need for my hair, but I would say that they are between average to slightly above average amongst the other brands can be purchased from the supermarket.
Shampoo: The Essano Argan Oil Nourishing Shampoo is a shampoo that represented as a natural option for those who are into "natural products". Even thought it does not contain SLS-type surfactants it lathers really well. I do feel that it can clean my hair well if I double cleanse, which is not unusual in my hair (some days I use a lot of hair products and leave-in treatment). I like that it does not leave my scalp irritated or sensitive. It has a nutty scent which resembles the argan oil smell. I can also feel that it does not damage or dry up my hair. However, the matching conditioner from Essano is not nourishing enough for my hair. As I like using matching shampoo and conditioner, sadly I have not repurchased this since.
Conditioner: Essano Argan Oil Nourishing Conditioner is a medium to slightly thicker consistency conditioner for hair. It has a typical argan oil scent to it (which I would usually describe it as a bit nutty), and the scent does linger in the hair. I use this and the matching shampoo. I found that this conditioner is quite light, and unfortunately is not really enough for my dry and damaged hair. I did finish the conditioner at the end but it is not something that I would consider purchase for a second time.
