I received these all the way back in late 2017 courtesy of BH's 10th birthday party, but only got around to opening the packet early last year when I finally purchased a couple of colour correcting products.
These cute little sponges are colour-coded according to different colour correcting shades - green for concealing redness, pink & peach for covering dark circles (depending on your skin tone, you could use the pink sponge for fair-light skin & the peach for medium-dark skin) & lilac/lavender for dullness. For my own purposes, I used the green, pink & peach sponges.
If I'm honest, I found that these sponges were absolute suckers....of product that is. Regardless of whether I used these in wet or dry form, I found they absorbed far too much product & therefore I had to apply more product to get the coverage I needed. On most occasions, I found the green sponge actually REMOVED my green corrector completely, making it appear as though I hadn't applied any at all. Mind you, I think that was partly the fault of both myself as a makeup novice + the corrector I was using - I did find that the sponges worked ever so slightly better with more fluid colour corrector (like for e.g. Urban Decay's Naked Skin Colour Correcting Fluid) as opposed to the Smashbox stick colour correctors I had in my stash.
The only good thing I can say about these sponges is, aside from being colour-coded, they do work ok in smaller/harder to reach places, like the inner corners & under your eyes. Still, even then I found it easier to use my ring or pinky finger to blend out my colour corrector instead of the sponge.
For me, these mini sponges don't quite cut it & despite liking the concept, I wouldn't purchase them for myself.
