I've accumulated a pile of different brushes over the years and I can tell you why I purchased each and every brush and where I got them from, except of course for the spoolies and angled liners. These just seemed to have multiplied in the dark and while I use them every day, I'd never go out of my way to buy one. And that's the problem with sets like these.
Firstly, spoolies are a dime a dozen. I've received them in sample bags; I've bought brushes that had a random spoolie on the end; I've received them in larger kits; I've been gifted them by friends whose spoolies were having babies. It doesn't matter what you do you're gonna end up with a pile of spoolies. And angled liners are no different.
Secondly, there is very little quality difference from cheap ones to more expensive ones for either of these brushes. I have a Colourpop angled liner that is slightly stiffer and thicker than others but it really doesn't make that much of a difference. The rest are all the same.
So...I've had these two brushes for a while: the angled liner still has its shape and hasn't shed any bristles and the spoolie is pretty solid and hasn't lost any grip. They both do the trick and this kit sells at a pretty reasonable price.
Ecotools produce quality brushes, I like that they are sustainable with material choices and they have some seriously good brushes in their range. But knowing that you'll inherit more spoolies and angled liners than you'll ever be able to use, you have to wonder if you really need to buy this particular set?
Tips
Ecotools produce quality sustainable brushes, but I'd suggest buying one of their bigger kits that will give you some good functional brushes with these two thrown in for good measure. Try the 'enhancing eye set' that is only a few dollars more for 2 double ended brushes or their '6 piece starter kit', which is close to double the price, but includes these 2 brushes + a concealer brush + a powder brush + a shader brush + a cosmetic bag. Much better value.
