Make sure you go to the bathroom and set yourself up with a drink before applying so you don't have to do a slippery dash to the fridge/toilet.

Even though the box recommends use for 60-90 minutes, I am time poor and usually only use this for 30-45 mins. It still works really well!

It definitely works!

I received this Exfoliating Foot Mask by Dermal Therapy as a part of my most recent haul via the Beauty Heaven Rewards Room! Now, this is probably not something I would normally spend my points on, but as Summer is here I like to do these types of foot masks before the hotter days come so that I don't have to worry about my feet looking funky when wearing thongs and/or no shoes at the beach! I normally use the Tony Moly brand of foot mask and have had good success with those, so I was curious to try out a different brand for once. And this Dermal Therapy mask definitely works! The application of the mask itself was easy. The instructions a very clear and simple to follow. I will say that the plastic foot socks that they give you are ridiculously sized though - like an elephants foot, so my suggestion is to put on a tightly fitted sock or slipper on over the plastic sock (and leave that on while you're waiting around for 60-90 mins) so that you are comfortable and so the fluid doesn't seep out or slip around. I also like the fact that you get a bonus Sensitive Skin Lotion in the pack that you can apply after you have washed off the acid solution to ensure you lock in the moisture. And of course you can also use it as a general foot cream afterward too! It took about 3-4 days before I started noticing any peeling after my original application of the mask. But once the peeling hits, it's on! Peeling galore. Considering that I don't have very course or rough feet to begin with, a lot of skin came off! But that is to be expected regardless. These foot masks are a great preventative measure to ensure your feet are looking their best. But I can also see these masks being very beneficial for those with rough and callused feet. Just ensure that you don't have any open sores or wounds, because I could imagine that that would sting immensely as there are quite a blend of potent acids in the product itself (AHA's and BHA's). All in all I would definitely recommend this mask. The only downside is the size of the plastic socks and also the price point as there are a few cheaper masks currently on the market (but remember that you do get a full sized lotion with this set so take that into consideration).

Tips

Put on one of your own tightly fitted socks or slippers over the plastic sock that is supplied to ensure no spills of the solution and for maximum absorption.
