I bought the Bourjois Rose Exclusif lip gloss because I liked the packaging, so very feminine and pretty, I had no idea that the colour would change according to the PH of the skin. After trying many other glosses by several cosmetic companies, I was really despairing that I would not find that elusive shade of 'rose' I was after...something to add a touch of colour to my face without being too obvious or vibrant...I tried the gloss on the back of my hand, eh voila!, a beautiful, subtle dusky rose developed and I was in love! Lucky me!
The applicator is very small, but applies the gloss well. I found it easy to follow the contours of my lips without losing the line - I think the thick viscosity of the gloss helps in the application. And yes, it is thick, and unctuous, and sticky, so maybe a top coat of clear gloss? Haven't tried that myself....
The colour on me is just divine, just a beautiful, dusky rose pink. It's perfect. And the perfume is lovely.
So very happy I decided to stop at the Bourjois display at my local Priceline, so very, very happy!
Tips
Don't be afraid to start off with a thicker dollop, then spread it along the lip line, letting the warmth of your body spread the gloss.
If you don't like the tackiness of the product, perhaps a top coat of clear gloss might help?
