5 gifts I want for Christmas
I know I must seem a little cheeky to you.
I am lucky. I know it. I do get to try a lot of fabulous products due to my gig. It’s great – and I’m thankful – I really am.
But Santa, even though I get to try a lot of ah-mazing products, I’m a girl – which means two things; I’ll never own enough pairs of shoes (there’s no such thing) and the high volume of beauty products in my life only serves to feed my hunger briefly – and I’m never going to stop wanting more.
So with that in mind, please take this Christmas wish list very seriously and forget that I work at beautyheaven, just while you’re sorting out the gifts, would ya?
Gift I’d love for Christmas #1: Dolce & Gabbana The One Limited Edition, $104, 02 9695 5678
Gold, glorious gold. That’s what you can’t help but think when you clap eyes on this limited edition bottle. It’s chic, completely dressing table-worthy and the scent is TDF (that’s To Die For, Santa), with its notes of zesty bergamot, juicy lychee, peach and vanilla. Plus, there’s a just as delectable guy version, too!
Gift I’d love for Christmas #2: Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Foundation
I’m all about radiance this year. I want my skin to be brighter and more radiant and that’s where this foundation comes in. It’s infused with Touche Eclat – (you know, the amazing under-eye brightening concealer?) and it targets any shadowy areas whilst highlighting the contours of your face. In other words, it needs to get on my face, like yesterday.
Gift I’d love for Christmas #3: Ella Baché Radiance Pack
Off the back of my foundation wish, I’d like to treat my skin with a radiance boost too – you know, so that my foundation doesn’t have to do all of the work. This lustrous skin pack features Radiance C Ampoule brightening serum and active vitamin C concentrate, Gommage Délicat, Radiance Makeup Remover and Fruit D’Eclat – so you can treat your skin to quite the radiance-boosting routine.
Gift I’d love for Christmas #4: Urban Rituelle Festive Favourites SHINE SO BRIGHT Fresh Fig & Sugar Plum Soy Wax Candle
Santa, my home is in need of a fragrance makeover – and seeing as plum and fig are two of my favourite scents (and totally man-friendly), this candle is the perfect solution. The box is perfect, the scent is spot on and with up to 40 hours burning time, it’s well worth the dough, don’t you think?
Gift I’d love for Christmas #5: Aromatherapy Associates Festive Collection
Do you know what the best gift would be, Santa? The gift of a long, hot, pampering bath! This gift set from Aromatherapy Associates not only looks incredible, it features 10 miniature versions of their famous Bath and Shower Oils too. You know, the ones with the therapeutic blends! Yes, I’ll have me one of those and about an hour of ‘me time’, thanks very much.
Oh and Santa, if I could be so bold as to ask for just one more thing, I’d love to try the Dr. Alkaitis Treatment Oil ($88, www.nourishedlife.com.au) – it’s supposed to be incredible – and not just for your skin. In fact, this miracle regenerating oil can be used on your body and in your hair, too! I’m sold.
Which gift would you most like to find under your tree? Is there a product you've been wanting to try for ages but haven't got around to it? Now's your time to ask Santa!
