As one of the most photographed women in the world, it seems that Kate Middleton would have to make looking picture perfect a full time job.
So when the Royal bub finally arrives, we can’t help but think that the Duchess of Cambridge may find herself spending even a little more time than usual in the spotlight – whether she likes it or not.
It was this very thought that sparked the debate about delivery room beauty.
It’s no surprise that every new mum is ecstatic about her new delivery, but in this day and age they’re also well aware that there is a whole sea of people waiting for a digital update on the arrival of their little one.
That’s a whole lot of pressure on new mums, isn’t it? It’s no secret that after hour upon hour of excruciating labour, no woman is going to look as though they’ve stepped off a runway – but that doesn’t stop some women from trying.
In fact, there is an emerging trend in delivery room beauty – and it involves taking the necessary steps to ensure that post-birth snaps with baby are flattering – fabulous even. Some women have even been known to book in spray tans and blow dries in the days leading up to their due date so that their post-birth photos are well and truly up to scratch.
It got me thinking, will one of the most photographed women in the world fall to the same pressures? Do you think Kate Middleton is likely to bring in a hairdresser to tend to her tresses before the paparazzi are let loose on her and the new heir to the throne?
We’re here to tell her not to bother. All she needs to do is ensure her baby bag is packed with a few beauty essentials that’ll ensure she’s ready to face the press.
