The quest for post-birth photo perfection

As one of the most photographed women in the world, it seems that Kate Middleton would have to make looking picture perfect a full time job.
So when the Royal bub finally arrives, we can’t help but think that the Duchess of Cambridge may find herself spending even a little more time than usual in the spotlight – whether she likes it or not.
It was this very thought that sparked the debate about delivery room beauty.
It’s no surprise that every new mum is ecstatic about her new delivery, but in this day and age they’re also well aware that there is a whole sea of people waiting for a digital update on the arrival of their little one.
That’s a whole lot of pressure on new mums, isn’t it? It’s no secret that after hour upon hour of excruciating labour, no woman is going to look as though they’ve stepped off a runway – but that doesn’t stop some women from trying.
In fact, there is an emerging trend in delivery room beauty – and it involves taking the necessary steps to ensure that post-birth snaps with baby are flattering – fabulous even. Some women have even been known to book in spray tans and blow dries in the days leading up to their due date so that their post-birth photos are well and truly up to scratch.
It got me thinking, will one of the most photographed women in the world fall to the same pressures? Do you think Kate Middleton is likely to bring in a hairdresser to tend to her tresses before the paparazzi are let loose on her and the new heir to the throne?
We’re here to tell her not to bother. All she needs to do is ensure her baby bag is packed with a few beauty essentials that’ll ensure she’s ready to face the press.

I have used spell casting to get my ex husband back to me and also get pregnant with twins girls through the help of a great and trusted spell caster after 12 years of marriage.
When I came online last year, I met a testimony about Priest ODUNGA who has been helping people and I decided to contact him. We spoke on email at (odungaspelltemple@gmail.com) and later he gave me his Whats App number which is +2348167159012 and he assured me he would help me get my ex husband back after 3 years of no contact. My husband left me because I was unable to give him a child for 9 years after our marriage. There was no contact between us anymore and I didn't know how to get to him. Priest Odunga is the best spell caster I must say. My husband called me after 24 hours of contacting Priest Odunga. Soon I received a herbal medicine for fertility from this man, I became fertile. I and my husband reconnected that very week, had sex and I became pregnant. Today, I am happy today to be the mother of twins girls and this is ALL THANKS TO PRIEST ODUNGA. I came online to say this If you need help, I believe you are saved with this spell caster. Contact his email at (odungaspelltemple@gmail.com) and you too will give a testimony too to help others

Not something that has been or will be on my mind when I'm in the delivery room or afterwards! Too many other more important things going on. Would be nice to be pampered before and after the birth though... :)

I'd be most focused on the new baby coming than getting a spray tan.

After giving birth to my second baby, my sister took a picture of me when bubs was only 1 hr old and I looked blahhhhh. While in hospital, you don't have time to think of how you look.....all I wanted to do was zzzzzzz.

I don't care what I look like in the delivery room and neither does anyone else in there eg my husband, nurses and an obstetrician.

My focus was on the delivery and my baby at this life changing time, I did not care how I looked. I was more worried about exposing my privates to a bunch of strangers, although my modesty disappeared after two hours of labour.

I hope Kate will be so over whelmed with the new life she has bought into the world, that how she looks is really not that high on her list of priorities!

I mean honestly - have we forgotten what beauty is? Yes, a lot of the time in practicality it is a beauty regime and makeup, but the truth is there's nothing more beautiful than the moment you first hold your child and introduce him/her to your family, who cares how you look?

I really don't mean to "troll" but this is a little bit of a silly article, no? I'm sure there are women out there who are most certainly concerned with their appearance during and/or right after the birth of their child (I am guessing the ones who have quick, easy births) - but I don't think they'd be preoccupied enough to take note of articles and staple products, I think they're in too much of a haze and would just go with the flow either way. We can't expect ourselves to be perfectly prepared for absolutely everything including this very primal moment. Not really a fair expectation for anyone to have, including yourself.

hahha no kids for me, but this article did give me a laugh. From what i have seen of childbirth and what friends have said, the last thing on their minds is how they look LOL The priority is more about who they could kill to get rid of the pain LOL

Golly what a nightmare to be in the public eye - I wouldn't care a fig what I looked like, and I'd be radiating so much bubba love, I doubt I'd need anything anyway :-)

I doubt you'd worry about how you look at all to be honest :)

After 31 hours of labour the last thing on my mind was how I looked!

I can't imagine that beauty would be on your mind after giving birth but I can see how having a picture of the new bub with mum looking radiant would be nice.

It doesn't matter if you look great after having a baby, that's not important at all. A healthy mum and bub is the main goal.

I dont get why you would want to look good while giving birth, that would be my last priority.
