The ‘other’ side effects of pregnancy

When we talk about pregnancy, morning sickness, strange cravings and swollen ankles spring to mind, but as any mum-to-be will tell you, those symptoms are child’s play when it comes to what you’ll really have to deal with. And since we had so much fun sharing the not-so-pretty side of giving birth, let’s explore the less glamorous moments of pregnancy...
You might sport facial hair
Okay, so you’re unlikely to rock a full beard, but facial hair growth is a very real pregnancy symptom. You can blame those raging hormones, since they cause hair to grow at super-fast speeds, and sometimes, in new (and embarrassing) places. At the end of the day, a few rogue hairs are a small price to pay for a baby, so buy a home waxing kit and remember: it’ll all be over soon.

You’ll drool. Often
During those nine months, it’s pretty common to produce more saliva than usual, so brace yourself for soggy pillows. Get used to brushing your chompers and swishing minty mouthwash on the reg, and try chewing gum. And if you didn’t snore before, you most certainly will now!
You may leak a little
Your bub is resting on a fair few internal organs, including your bladder, so you may pee a bit. It’s natural! Coughing, sneezing and laughing are the main culprits, but it’s nothing a pad or panty liner can’t fix.
You’ll get used to aching
Everything will hurt. Your head, boobs, back, belly, feet and even your teeth will make themselves known, and if they don’t, you’re most definitely superwoman. Growing a brand new person is hard work and it definitely takes a toll on your body, so go easy on yourself when those leg cramps kick in. Our suggestion? Draw a long, relaxing bubble bath.

You’ll become a tooter
There’s no use in trying to hide your glorious transcendence into gassiness. The truth is, you will fart. A lot. And you may experience serious gas pains, so if that happens, lay off the greasy foods, since they’ll only add to your woes. Other than that, all you can do is grin and bear it - and hope your partner doesn’t mind the occasional toot.
You’ll burp like a teenage boy
Burping is just another one of those incredibly ladylike side effects of pregnancy. Oh, the joys. Just steer clear of things with a lot of fizz, and keep telling yourself that you have the best excuse in the world. Go girl!
Your vagina will grow
Everyone knows about swollen hands and feet, and the fact that your boobs enter a room minutes before you do, but no one tells you that your genitals will swell. Think about it: your vagina is bearing the brunt of all that extra blood your body is producing for your bub, so it makes sense that it ends up feeling tender and sore.
You’ll get a case of ‘baby brain’
Expect to do any or all of the following at some point in your pregnancy: cry over commercials; experience emotional highs and lows; leave your car keys in the freezer; yell at staff in Woolies when they’re out of your favourite yoghurt; and forget where you’re going and how to spell your own name. But don’t panic, as this pregnancy-induced fog is due to fluctuations in your hormones, as well as tiny movements by the foetus, which means you’re only temporarily insane.

Am giving this testimony because am so happy, I want to thank Dr. Osasu for the great thing He has done in my life , He brought happiness back to my life, I never believed in spell casters until my life fell apart when my lover of 6 years decided to call it quit almost when we wanted to get married. I was so emotional breakdown to the extent i could not do anything reasonable again, after 2months in pain before an old friend of mine introduced me to a spell caster on line called Dr Osasu, this was after I have been scammed by various fake spell casters. Hello everyone, I am from Wembley, Britain. I want to write this testimony to tell others and thank Prophet Odunga for what he has done for me. I am married for 12 years now and i have given birth to 5 children but they all died within days and i was called all sort of names by my mother-in-law and this has made my marriage life very hectic and a burden of sorrow. I contacted Priest Odunga for help and i will say that he is a very strong spell caster and he indeed help me solve my problem. I saw his email in a testimony and i contacted him, little did i know it would be the end of all my problems. My husband even loved me more and bought me expensive things. One afternoon, i felt my womb moving and after 9 months i gave birth to a baby boy and now my boy is growing up. Ever since i contacted Prophet Odunga, my story has been different. Please, contact him at odungaspelltemple@gmail.com OR WhatsApp him +2348167159012 to help you

I have used spell casting to get my ex husband back to me and also get pregnant with twins girls through the help of a great and trusted spell caster after 12 years of marriage.
When I came online last year, I met a testimony about Priest ODUNGA who has been helping people and I decided to contact him. We spoke on email at (odungaspelltemple@gmail.com) and later he gave me his Whats App number which is +2348167159012 and he assured me he would help me get my ex husband back after 3 years of no contact. My husband left me because I was unable to give him a child for 9 years after our marriage. There was no contact between us anymore and I didn't know how to get to him. Priest Odunga is the best spell caster I must say. My husband called me after 24 hours of contacting Priest Odunga. Soon I received a herbal medicine for fertility from this man, I became fertile. I and my husband reconnected that very week, had sex and I became pregnant. Today, I am happy today to be the mother of twins girls and this is ALL THANKS TO PRIEST ODUNGA. I came online to say this If you need help, I believe you are saved with this spell caster. Contact his email at (odungaspelltemple@gmail.com) and you too will give a testimony too to help others

Baby #3 gave me bad heartburn - short lived thankfully
My feet grew a size larger and my ribs expanded so I could no longer wear by blue leather bustier after my first baby!
Small sacrifices for a big gain of 3 amazing children.
None of these stories could have ever stopped my from trying to have children.

I definitely had baby brain but apart from that I mostly had a dream pregnancy. However, the delivery - now, that's another story!

Haha, I love this! I was always skeptical of "baby brain" before I had my daughter but oh my goodness is it well and truely real! I felt like once I'd told the world I was expecting, all of the sudden I couldn't remember anything. Sadly, 15 months in and I don't see any signs of baby brain disappearing....

My sister and I who were both pregnant at the same time (well, my first baby was born and she announced she was 4 months pregnant) both had a parenting magazine with the A-Z of pregnancy.
When we suffered a "baby brain" moment, we would both say "V is for Vague!) and over 2 decades later, we still say it - but now it's for menopause!
