If you’re preggers and love all things beauty, then it’s time to book in some serious pre-baby pampering. After all, let’s face it – most of our ‘me’ time will completely disappear once bub arrives. A long hot bath, a two-hour trip to the salon, or a pedicure will soon be a distant memory, so while you’re pregnant make the most of it! Apart from being utterly relaxing and a welcome treat for your pregnant-heavy body, it will also ensure you’re in tip-top beauty condition when you meet the newest addition to your family.

Your hair
If you have to touch up your roots or refresh your colour regularly – be it a trip to the salon, or a quick home job in the bathroom – you know that once bub comes, regular hair touch-ups will quickly fall by the wayside. The solution? Switch to a more low key colouring style. Enter balayage, where colour is applied to your hair freehand, rather than with foils, giving it a more natural, grown-in look. Your face

Your hands and feet
In preparation for what may be a long time between polish changes, be sure to head off to the salon for a professional manicure and pedicure pre-labour. The fact that you’ve probably not seen or touched your toes in weeks means they’re likely to be well overdue for some TLC! Opt for a colour that you’re willing to stick with, like a neutral pink shade, as you may not get around to changing it again soon.
