I don’t think it is a silly question either.
I have always used baby oil to remove eye make up. It is strong enough to remove eye make up but doesn’t sting the eyes & bonus is that it is always very cheap to buy compared to eye make up removing products.
I wouldn’t use it on the whole face though.

How is she asking a silly question? This thread is in it appropriate category!

I had a bad experience using baby oil on myself, it actually burned my skin and i got a rash from it.
As Dee said, it contains Mineral Oil, which is the main irritant in the Baby Oil.

Who is to judge what a silly question is? Here’s a silly question – why are you so rude, Harmony?

Scrumptious, I personally wouldn’t advise using baby oil (especially on babies!). Most of them are basically mineral oil, which has no real benefit to the skin and could actually cause harm for people with sensitive or acne prone skin. Allyhump is right – it clogs the pores.

I don’t use baby oil on my skin generally anymore because I prefer natural oils like sweet almond, jojoba etc. especially for the face area but baby oil has been around for a long time and used for many things including removing makeup.

It’s also good for removing temporary tattoos, it’s good because it removes eye make-up for me as well as being moisturising. 🙂
