Baby love

I’m not sure what’s worse – concern over your tiny baby’s nappy rash or your teenage daughter’s pimples! As if worrying about alcohol, partying and keeping up with homework isn’t stressful enough, there’s the influx of hormones playing havoc not only with your teenager’s mood but also with their skin. While I’ve tried offering ‘lifestyle’ tips – “…drink plenty of water, watch what you eat and appreciate the benefits of a little exercise…” I have the feeling my words are falling on deaf ears.
So I’m putting the older kids’ issues in the ‘too-hard’ basket and doing my bit by strategically placing teenage skincare products in their bathroom. Current teen skin favourites are Proactiv and Clean & Clear. Although I have a feeling that when it all goes wrong – whether its spots, boyfriends or trouble at school - it will somehow still be my fault! Lucky my skin is thick.
From my point of view newborn babies are much easier. Admittedly you may have to deal with crusty cradle cap, a sore, raging-red bottom or an unsightly facial milk rash but at least you feel you have some control. Much like teenagers, a baby’s diet and hormones are thought to be responsible for some of these complaints so adjusting your/their food and drink can make all the difference. These days there are also plenty of expert-developed products from brands such as Dermaveen, Alpha Keri and Aveeno – all gentle enough for the newest of babies and offering welcome relief for your baby’s skin.
So if you have to choose between teenagers and babies (sadly, you can’t can you?) I’m going for baby every time. Nappy rash or not, they still look at you with gummy-smiled love in their eyes. Make the most of it – I haven’t seen one of those on my teenagers’ faces for a long time….and I’m not holding my breath.
My top 5 products for baby’s skin:
Alpha Keri Oil in baby’s bath – cleans skin while keeping it soft and moisturised, especially in the areas prone to dryness and cracking.
Aveeno Active Naturals Baby Daily Moisturising Lotion – a fabulous all-over, gentle and fragrance-free moisturiser.
Lucas’ Papaw Ointment – the best nappy rash prevention I have ever found.
A’kin pureBaby Comforting Massage Oil – great for you and baby too.
Burt’s Bees Baby Bee Dusting Powder – all natural and an all-round lovely brand.

I have used spell casting to get my ex husband back to me and also get pregnant with twins girls through the help of a great and trusted spell caster after 12 years of marriage.
When I came online last year, I met a testimony about Priest ODUNGA who has been helping people and I decided to contact him. We spoke on email at (odungaspelltemple@gmail.com) and later he gave me his Whats App number which is +2348167159012 and he assured me he would help me get my ex husband back after 3 years of no contact. My husband left me because I was unable to give him a child for 9 years after our marriage. There was no contact between us anymore and I didn't know how to get to him. Priest Odunga is the best spell caster I must say. My husband called me after 24 hours of contacting Priest Odunga. Soon I received a herbal medicine for fertility from this man, I became fertile. I and my husband reconnected that very week, had sex and I became pregnant. Today, I am happy today to be the mother of twins girls and this is ALL THANKS TO PRIEST ODUNGA. I came online to say this If you need help, I believe you are saved with this spell caster. Contact his email at (odungaspelltemple@gmail.com) and you too will give a testimony too to help others

For the new parents, caring babies become an uphill task. They normally get irritated over the issues of the baby. But that shouldn't be the case. You have to keep patience and look after them properly. You should enjoy the parenthood as it's really a happy phase of life. Baby's skin is very delicate and more susceptible to any kind of skin diseases or more than that. Parents should buy the baby products by researching thoroughly about the ingredients and should learn the exact and appropriate use of it.

I wasn't aware that Lucas' Papaw Ointment can be used to soothe nappy rash. This is definitely a versatile cult product. I use it everyday to moisterise my dry lips at night before bed.

I remember when my daughter had a milk rash all over her face, I felt pretty horrible because I didn't know what it was. I was thinking, OMG this is what she has now, what will happen when she's a teenager? Haha, this is what happens where you're isolated, you're totally clueless! And I remember just using breast milk and it did wonders for her! I never used any chemicals or any kind of products at all and her skin healed pretty quickly with just breast milk. After a while I started using Sudocrem as a precaution and she NEVER had any nappy rashes or anything like that. She's lucky that she doesn't have any allergies or skin conditions.. Ah, miss those baby days!! Today she's almost 3, with more attitude than me and my husband combined. I definitely dread the teenage years!

Paw Paw ointment (in the pot) was one I always remember my mum using on my sisters even 21years ago! Sometimes the simple things are often the best :) Nice to see now a days brands like Burts Bees, Akin and even Gaia have baby ranges too, more options for mums.

My eldest daughter was so demanding as a baby that to comfort myself at the time I'd say to myself, "She'll be ten one day and won't be always like this." Thankfully now she's beyond 10 and is 13.5 years old and I'm loving this stage much better - she's much easier as a teen than she was a baby! So it's all back-to-front for me! My other two daughters are six and 10 and I'm celebrating that there are no more nappies or nightfeeds in this house. I could never go back - I think it would kill me and I take my hat off to all the mums of bubs today!
One product I found a godsend when I had babe-in-arms was Brauer's Nappy Relief Cream whenever they got a sore little bottom. It was instantly soothing and took them out of their crabby mood and then healed the rash extremely quickly as well. I can recommend it! Aveeno wasn't around when 'back then' but I'm sure I would've used it if it was because I know how fantastic their products can be!

I have found a fantastic baby nappy rash treatment and its called Bod for Bubs Cowboys and Itchy Bums, its a great all natural barrier cream, I use it myself sometimes to help with chafe ;) I also like Burt's Bees Baby Bee Buttermilk Lotion, Bod For Bubs Bubble and Squeakie Clean Bubble Bath and Burt's Bees Baby Bee Dusting Powder :) Its amazing at how many alternative brands their are out there for bubs I was so oblivious to this when I first had kids and thought that Johnson's was the only baby range around, lol. Oh and I also love using my MooGoo products, the scalp cream and shampoo and conditioner got rid of my baby girls cradle cap super fast :)
