Top tips for getting ready with a toddler
If you’re someone who struggles enough as it is to get your face on without running late every morning, imagine how hard it is when a toddler is thrown into the mix.

Yep, they’ve sure got a knack for getting into just about everything, making even the easiest of tasks a much bigger challenge. When you’re trying to get out the door in a hurry, use the bathroom, talk on the phone or do your make-up - expect biiig delays. Sorry ladies, there's no more smooth sailing from here on in.
So when you’ve got a toddler in tow, the trick to getting out the door on time is cutting out the finicky details (bye bye winged liner!) and sticking to the basics. Watch what bh’s Bree uses to master the art of getting ready with a toddler.
BB CREAM TO MULTITASK
Sitting somewhere between a moisturiser and a foundation, BB Cream is a skin saviour - the quickest, fuss-free complexion perfection cream for a mum.

ALWAYS HAVE WIPES ON HAND
The number of times you’ll use these for yourself - and on them - is unparalleled. Keep a packet with you at all times for wiping grubby hands and faces clean.

NURTURE YOUR BROWS
When you only have a few minutes to get ready, focus on features that make the biggest impact with minimal effort. Don’t underestimate the power of strong, polished looking brows.

THE POWER OF A POWDER
Continually chasing a toddler around doesn’t exactly lend itself time for touch-ups. To ensure your make-up lasts the distance, quickly dust a light layer of finishing powder over your foundation.

DETANGLE IN A FLASH
Finding a few quiet moments to style your hair comes once in a blue moon, so for all those other times you’ll need a fast fix, leaving it up to your brush to see you through. Our advice? Invest in a tangleze - they work wonders on knots, fit easily into your handbag and are even gentle enough to use on your bub.

My closest friend is a single mother. I'm amazed at how she copes with getting herself and her child ready and she's out the door very early. All mothers are super heroes.

Grandchildren are just magic, Margaret - our girls are now 6 and 8 but I actually thought I'd have to live through my sister's Grandchildren because I wasn't sure we'd ever have our own - miracles happen!!!
