Baby present buying for dummies

I don’t know about you, but I feel like everyone around me is pregnant right now. Not just because it seemed like Jessica Simpson was pregnant for eight years, mind you – but because everywhere I turn someone seems to be expecting.
Now, I’m still too young to have to deal with baby showers and first birthdays on a weekly basis, but as the few pregnant women I know do start having babies, I know I’ll start getting antsy at the thought of having to find gifts fit for their babies.
I mean, what do you buy a child too small to even develop his or her own taste? A person who won’t even remember the gift? And then it came to me. You go with products that will make life easier for mum and bub. You know, pampering products that make bed and bath-time less of a chore, and more fun. (Because there is definitely a thing as too many onesies.)
Here are my top picks for buying gifts for bubs…
The on-the-move gift:
Burt’s Bees Baby Bee Getting Started Kit – this bite-sized kit is perfect to throw in the nappy bag for the ultimate in baby care on-the-go. With all the bits you need like Dusting Powder, Diaper Ointment and Buttermilk Lotion, there’s no issue you can’t handle with this kit.
The pampering gift:
Urban Rituelle Mumma & Bubba Organics Beddy Bye Bunny Nursery Set – this super swish gift will definitely impress any new mum. Urban Rituelle’s lavish gift set contains Nursery Mist (to help get baby off to sleep), Massage Oil (for a sleep-inducing rub) as well as a plush Beddy Bye Bunny to cuddle little bodies at night.
The natural mum gift:
GAIA Natural Baby Baby Starter Kit – totally pure, organic and natural, this starter kit is perfect for mums that prefer to head down the natural skin care path. This range is perfect for sensitive skin on little bodies, and won’t cause irritation or redness. Comes complete with Bath & Body Wash, Shampoo, Moisturiser, Skin Soothing Lotion and a Baby Massage Oil.
The bath time gift:
Johnson’s No More Tangles Detangling Spray – the best gift you can give your friend? How about less crying? While this product is for toddlers not babies, it’ll be a gift very gratefully received when their little one gets old enough to start throwing tantrums at bath time. The detangling spray can be used on wet or dry hair and will instantly unravel knots and tangles, eliminating a reason for the toddler to turn on the waterworks!

I have used spell casting to get my ex husband back to me and also get pregnant with twins girls through the help of a great and trusted spell caster after 12 years of marriage.
When I came online last year, I met a testimony about Priest ODUNGA who has been helping people and I decided to contact him. We spoke on email at (odungaspelltemple@gmail.com) and later he gave me his Whats App number which is +2348167159012 and he assured me he would help me get my ex husband back after 3 years of no contact. My husband left me because I was unable to give him a child for 9 years after our marriage. There was no contact between us anymore and I didn't know how to get to him. Priest Odunga is the best spell caster I must say. My husband called me after 24 hours of contacting Priest Odunga. Soon I received a herbal medicine for fertility from this man, I became fertile. I and my husband reconnected that very week, had sex and I became pregnant. Today, I am happy today to be the mother of twins girls and this is ALL THANKS TO PRIEST ODUNGA. I came online to say this If you need help, I believe you are saved with this spell caster. Contact his email at (odungaspelltemple@gmail.com) and you too will give a testimony too to help others

Great ideas... I never knew what would make a good gift for babies till I had my own. The best gifts that I got were: a giant box of nappies (never knew it’s such a good gift as with babies nappies are never enough), baby rocker, baby activity gym and baby booties

After having kids, definitely realise practical is best. Gaia products are amazing, and I think endless nappies are great, cot sheets and I also now give a "voucher" for a few hours of baby sitting so mum can get some rest

Gifts are always the best choice to appease a little one. I buy toys as gifts on crazysales because most of them are educational and they would inspire kids to have the desire of learning.

I've found that since having my own kids, giving practical items are perfect and so appreciated by first time mums. I usually make up my own kit of nappies, cloths, sudocream, nipple cream, wind drops, spare baby onsie, spare top for mum, disposable change mats, bibs, baby blanket and a wrap. I call it an emergency kit - for the times when mums forget to restock the nappy bag. (I learnt this the hard way myself!) I also include something special for mum like skincare products, nice new fluffy towel, pj's or the like so new mum feels special after coming home with bub. I've got different reactions but mostly my friends have called when their bubs are a few weeks old and said thank goodness for your gift - until I had my bub I never knew how handy having these items on hand would be.

Great gift ideas. I always give first time mums beautiful 100% wool blankets but having received many gifts over the years, i tend to now make my own hamper with newborn nappies as the base and fill with Johnson's baby products, sudocream, couple of bibs, mittens and beanie.

When you're buying gifts for someone, its always good to have a little item with the gift that you personally handmade yourself because it shows that you put a lot of effort into the gift and that you want to show that person that they mean a lot to you so you put in the effort into making something. When it comes to babies its good to go on the internet and search up some stuff to make for babies like knitting jumpers, socks whatever. :D

Moogoo products would also be good as I think they'd have less risk of causing allergic reactions.

Anything organic is good I find - lots of people don't want to put nasty petrochemicals on that soft, sensitive newborn skin!
