Top tips to get the most out of your baby's bath

After many, many years of practice, you’ve got the whole washing yourself every day thing down pat (well, one would hope). Kudos to you. You smell great.
But as a new mum, bathing your baby may not seem as clear-cut. Their little body is so tiny and delicate, and there are areas you may have never even thought needed attention (like in the folds of their chubby baby skin). So rather than let you play a not-so-fun game of trial and error, we asked Jo Bridgman, a midwife who works with the Johnson’s baby professional team, to share some baby bathtime tips.
TOP TIPS FOR BABY BATHTIME
1. Water alone isn’t always enough to remove all impurities from your baby’s bottom. Use products that are specially formulated for babies and will cleanse while caring for your baby’s delicate skin barrier.
2. Choose a bath product that is soap free and therefore won’t dry out your baby’s skin. Jo’s product choice: Johnson’s baby Top-to-Toe.
3. Keeping your baby's skin hydrated and moisturised is one of the most important things you can do to help maintain and protect your baby's delicate skin barrier. Choose a moisturising lotion that has been specially formulated to care for and nourish your baby's skin. Jo’s product choice: Johnson’s Baby Lotion.
4. Cherish bath time! While a bath will help cleanse away impurities that can lead to skin irritations, it’s also a wonderful time to bond with your baby and helps your bub relax before bedtime - so enjoy it!

I have used spell casting to get my ex husband back to me and also get pregnant with twins girls through the help of a great and trusted spell caster after 12 years of marriage.
When I came online last year, I met a testimony about Priest ODUNGA who has been helping people and I decided to contact him. We spoke on email at (odungaspelltemple@gmail.com) and later he gave me his Whats App number which is +2348167159012 and he assured me he would help me get my ex husband back after 3 years of no contact. My husband left me because I was unable to give him a child for 9 years after our marriage. There was no contact between us anymore and I didn't know how to get to him. Priest Odunga is the best spell caster I must say. My husband called me after 24 hours of contacting Priest Odunga. Soon I received a herbal medicine for fertility from this man, I became fertile. I and my husband reconnected that very week, had sex and I became pregnant. Today, I am happy today to be the mother of twins girls and this is ALL THANKS TO PRIEST ODUNGA. I came online to say this If you need help, I believe you are saved with this spell caster. Contact his email at (odungaspelltemple@gmail.com) and you too will give a testimony too to help others

I've learnt that one of the best ways to settle babies and kids is to establish routines, the most important being the bedtime routine. If babies can see what's coming, they are less likely to put up a fight. Also, establish a calm environment before bedtime, and this sometimes means reminding yourself to slow down first (which can be hard during that crazy time of the day).

I only use water on newborns. Then when baby can sit up unassisted I will use a natural bubble bath. My toddlerloves Yes to Baby Carrots bubble bath and the lotion smells of babies. Yum.

One of the things I learnt from baby bath time when my kids were babies was to never put slippery oils, skin softeners, or washes on bub when they were in the baby bath. I did this only once and learnt you cannot hold the baby with your hands when they are super slippery. Let's just call this episode an early swimming lesson for my daughter. SandraXxX

New babies don't need to be bathed and moisturised every day, their skin is usually perfect as is. From about 2-3 months i introduced daily baths as a relaxation period before bed, worked a treat.
