Have you heard about Google Glass?
It’s a new device that you wear in a similar way to glasses that allows you to take pictures and record exactly what you’re seeing, give directions directly in front of you, and send messages using your voice – just to name a few. And it does it all hands-free. In fact, you only have to wink to take a picture.
So what does this mean for the beauty world? Well, as L’Oréal Paris make-up director Elsa Morganrecently demonstrated in a YouTube video, Google Glass can be used to share make-up tutorials directly from the eyes of a make-up artist. It records exactly what the make-up artist is seeing and doing, creating a rare viewing opportunity for many beauty fanatics.
With the help of Google Glass, make-up artists will be able to share their tips and tricks from backstage at runway shows and photo shoots without having to lift a finger.
Pretty cool, huh?
Are you excited about this new way to watch make-up tutorials? What else would you like to see Google Glass used for?
