Victoria Beckham’s One-Step Makeup Hack For Creating Brighter And Wider Eyes

Though many celebs are ready and willing to give us makeup tips and tricks, no recommendation piques our interest quite as much as one from Victoria Beckham. As we’ve seen from her skin care routine, Victoria’s beauty regimen has a tendency to be quite extensive and rather costly. That’s exactly why this one-step, one-product straightforward makeup hack from her has us all kinds of excited.

In a post shared to Victoria’s Instagram, the fashion designer and beauty entrepreneur detailed her method for creating brighter and wider-looking eyes. The secret? White eyeliner. Using the Instant Brightening Waterline Pencil from her range, Victoria Beckham Beauty, “use it to open your eyes [and] remove any redness,” she explained, applying the pencil to her waterline.

Labelled in another post as her “secret weapon,” Victoria described the cream-hued liner as a “universal tool that brightens and wakes up the eyes.”

So how do we get our hands on our own? The exact pencil Victoria used is available on Victoria Beckham Beauty for $48, however, this effect can be easily replicated with any white eyeliner, so don’t worry too much about having the identical product.

In fact, using a white eyeliner across your waterline is a beauty trick that’s long been used by makeup artists, beautyheaven members and even Tyra Banks as a subtle and instant way to illuminate eyes.

Here are the white liners our bh members recommend…

  1. I always do my eyes and refuse to obey any regulations. There are so many wonderful colours of eye shadow and eyeliner out there and not enough time in the day to utilize them all, but I’ll give it my best go. I’ve tried BB creams in the words from letters past, but the one or two available tones don’t match my skin tone.

  2. This is probably the only makeup hack I know, I use a cheap eyeliner from Essence, expensive stuff is wasted on me as I don’t wear it enough, A pale silver shade is nice too.

  3. Will have to get some White Eyeliner and try this Tip, would it still work if you applied the White Eyeliner to the waterline and a brown eyeliner underneath the eyeliner????

  4. I’ve used the white Eyeliner trick on and off over too many years to count. I just get a white liner from chemist Warehouse, or add a cheap one if I’m buying other things from a store. I don’t feel the need to spend a lot of money when those in the maybelline and Rimmel price range do just as good a job.
