We’ve Found 5 Of The Best BB Creams With SPF To Perfect And Protect Your Skin This Summer

We’ve Found 5 Of The Best BB Creams With SPF To Perfect And Protect Your Skin This Summer

Since its debut,  BB cream has become an absolute beauty must-have. And these days, the multi-tasking miracle product is a staple in many of our makeup bags. But, as Australians, we all know that a makeup product is only as good as its SPF.

When you’re looking for a BB cream, it’s important that it offers adequate protection from our country’s harsh sun and helps to boost the work of your face sunscreen. The best BB creams will offer at least an SPF 30, contain moisturising properties and give skin a natural glow.

Here are our top five picks of the best BB creams with the added benefit of SPF.

Maybelline Dream BB Cream

Depending on your skin’s needs, pick from two different finishes of the Maybelline New York Dream Pure BB: satin or matte. The eight-in-one formula instantly softens and evens out the skin, while also working hard beneath the surface to diminish pores and reduce breakouts.

“Overall this is a great and affordable multi-tasking product that covers blemishes, and hydrates and smooths skin. I do really like that there is added SPF protection and salicylic acid to keep my skin clear and to prevent breakouts.” – Dramsay82

  1. Definitely want my BB cream to be much less than a foundation but that’s a personal preference. I’m still looking as I want something soft and very natural looking that suits my fair skin.

  2. Do like Bioderma one, but with time when tube is opened and used, it got darker a bit. And as it is chemical based it does burn my eyes if I wear it all day and near my eyes.

  3. The light shade in Bioderma is too dark for me, as is the light shade in Garnier. I like the formulas but not the shade choices. I might check out the Maybelline Dream BB Cream.

  4. I use a La Roche Posay sunscreen but wasn’t happy with their previous tinted BB Creams. Might need to give it another try.

Love Garnier BB Cream – so natural looking

  5. Until Garnier changed the BB Cream formula (as in made it stink to high heaven with Linalool) I never bothered with foundation. It was absolute perfection.
I am seeing more and more that fragrance is being chucked out of products, and as someone with severe allergies to Linalool, I cannot wait!
Keeping fingers crossed that Garnier will be chucking it out of their amazing BB Cream.

  6. I’ve just started in Missha’s Perfect Cover B.B Cream SPF42 PA+++, I’m NC17 and shade #21 works well. It applies a little grey but somehow magically blends in and makes my skin look even and naturally radiant. My husband commented on how good my skin looked that very morning, and asked if I was using something new 😛
