Yes, it’s true. Gone are those horrible dark, smudged rings that Taylor Momsen’s been so fond of these past few years. Gone is that heavy, smoky make-up that left her looking awfully trashy.
This, my friends, is what the former Gossip Girl star looks like sans her signature raccoon eyes:

I don’t believe Miss Momsen looks absolutely outstanding here (she still reeks of attitude and her brows are a little ash-coloured in comparison to her hair), but that taupe eyeshadow is doing wonderful things for her blue eyes, and the colour blending of that cat-eye is impeccable.
Let’s all give Taylor a round of applause, shall we? I mean, a little encouragement may see her ditch the tacky black eye make-up for good. Because we don’t ever want her going back to this, do we?
