CC creams the new BB creams?

Are CC creams the next big thing?
Colour control creams are said to have more coverage, as well as incorporating the skin care element.

Might take awhile to catch on here.

Hmm, I’ve never heard about CC creams before. It seems good for someone with good skin. I think BB creams would suit my skin more though.

bb creams are really really good 🙂 don’t hesitate to buy one 🙂

I read somewhere the regullations are being reviewed atm, so it may change.

Yeah they’ve been changed. I work for Bobbi Brown and our new BB Creams are now being sold in Australia because the SPF laws have been lifted (the cream has SPF 35)

Sorry laurenbeautyy! I didn’t notice your post earlier today! I wonder how long it will take for other companies to start selling their higher SPF products?

Fascinating. It seems like CC creams are catering to those with minimal skin issues and just want a great base which offers some hydration and anti-aging benefits.

I have pigmentation issues so BB creams suit me. I am so in love with my Skin 79 ones 🙂 I won’t be straying for quite some time.

I totally agree, I get that the main difference is meant to be that it’s good for your skin but I feel that that’s what we have all our other skin care products for.

PS. The more coverage these creams claim to have the more I think, why not just use foundation? If you don’t wanna miss out on the nourishing ingredients that BB/CC creams contain then just use a nutrient-rich moisturiser.. It all seems a little gimmicky to me now

I agree with both of you, but having the option is great. I am looking for something all in one with a high SPF so I don’t have as many steps to do when I am not feeling 100%.

Hey dorme, the regulations in Australia only allow for products to be sold upto SPF 30 ( I think) overseas sells SPF 50 and 100.

Thanks PrettyPrincess, I was going to look into it myself, I’ll have a look around later and see if I can find any information on changed to be made.

I agree. They seem very similar. I admit I do want to try the CC Cream by Chanel, I really love Chanel’s bases and foundations, they are always great quality.

Not sure if there is much difference between the two?
