Resolution 101

Resolution 101

Now I’ve always been one to shy away from resolutions (so cliché in my 2008 brain) – heckle lazy if you will – but a trip away with my girlfriends got us talking all things R and whether it was the suppressed resolutions of old I do not know, but one thing’s for sure, I wanted to do a LOT in 2009. Like learn another language, make my own clothes, cook everyday (just small things then), oh and let’s not forget the beauty resolutions…

Get a life-changing haircut. For those who regularly check-in you’ll know that I’ve wanted one for a while now. Aggy had one, Rachel had one, Posh has had several so why not me? (Note: my fringe was good but I know I haven’t quite reached my full LCH potential). So 2009 is going to be my year and wavy bob (centre part, bye bye bangs) is going to be the ‘do. Watch this space.

Find a new It colour. Coral it has been for this summer. Although it’s looking like mint green could overtake, it’s currently the colour du jour at chez Macrae. I’m obsessed (as in totally) with Korres Natural Products Eyeliner Pencil in Green White and Maybelline New York Dream Mousse Eye Shadow in Mint Green. But what will lead me into Autumn? I’m thinking perhaps navy.

Spread the beautyheaven word further and wider. To think there are people out there who haven’t discovered the mine of knowledge, who have tips and tricks to share, well it just doesn’t bear thinking about, so ladies, join me in the recruit as we make 2009 a year to remember!

Any resolutions that you’d care to share?
