Introducing the future of make-up

Introducing the future of make-up

Forget shopping in store for make-up; soon you may be able to print your own at home.

The brainchild of Harvard graduate Grace Choi, the ‘Mink’ machine will enable users to choose any colour they like and turn it into a computer-readable hex code. It then mixes pigments and raw materials to create a beauty product.

Mink is set to retail for $300 and has the ability to connect to any computer.

While the possibility of producing our own make-up is alluring, we wonder if the machine may detract from the tactile experience of browsing in store for products.

Do you like the sound of the Mink machine? Do you think it’s the future of beauty?
