Supermodels swear by this technique for using makeup to make eyes look bigger

Brighter, wider eyes are flattering on just about everyone. If you’re not born with huge peepers, using makeup to make eyes look bigger is the best way to cheat the look . Doe eyes will make you instantly look wide awake, like you’ve managed to achieve those impossible eight hours of sleep. It’s a great trick to have up your sleeve, especially if you’ve got a few late nights coming up.

Top models are masters at knowing how to make eyes brighter with makeup. For example, Portuguese model Sharam Diniz uses this clever eyeliner trick for wider eyes in seconds.

See how she’s used a white-gold liner on her bottom lash lines and on the inner corners of her eyes? Sure, it looks gorgeous and radiant, but it’s also an incredibly handy way of using makeup to make eyes look bigger. It instantly given her bigger, wider eyes. She’s also used the colour on her top lids but only right in the corner, no further.

And if you take a closer look, you can see she’s also used a yellow-gold just under the bottom arch of her brows. This has helped give her brow bone more definition and given her look an even more radiant finish.

Handy hint: if you want to try this for yourself, those with warm undertones should use a yellow-based gold eyeshadow, while those with cooler undertones should use something with a bit more pink. Just make sure to keep the coverage very light.
