Confession: when watching Lena Dunham’s Girls, I find Allison Williams’ character, Marnie, infuriating. Her beauty look, however, is bang-on.
The 26-year-old actress recently revealed her beauty staples and I don’t know about you, but I’m taking notes. Without further ado, here they are:
Her beauty all-rounder: Homeoplasmine, US$22, +1 (801) 895-4886
This French ointment is a make-up artist favourite for soothing skin irritations. It’s tricky to get here but according to the star, it’s a lot like Vaseline Petroleum Jelly, which is widely available.
Her fave new product: L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil
A soothing shower oil that foams when it comes in contact water, this skin-softening formula is rich in nourishing almond oil and grape seed. Her workout of choice: Pilates
Popular with celebrities, the star took up Pilates after getting sore knees – and she’s never looked back. For something a little different, check out bh’s Olivia’s review of Xtend Barre – a fun fusion of ballet and Pilates.
Her make-up staple: Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes! 4-in-1 Mascara, US$20, 855-968-2783
The star won’t leave the house without it, joking her eyelashes “used to be considered good, until everyone started wearing fake ones”. The good news? The US beauty brand is coming to Sephora Australia in December. In the meantime, Avon Mega Effects Mascara (which she’s been seen wearing on the red carpet) has a similar volumising formula.
Are you a fan of Allison Williams’ beauty look? Which of her beauty must-haves do you most like the sound of?
