Mega Multiplier Mascara Reviews

I love that this comes in two different browns and I picked the Blackened Brown this time around but I think I would pick the Plum Brown next time (which is a lighter looking brown). I like trying different coloured mascaras.

I do like that this comes off easily in the shower at night and also that it doesn't smudge during the daytime - not even at the beach or while swimming. It comes off easily in the warm shower water though which is great. It doesn't come off in 'tubes' like a classic tubing mascara but it comes off easily as I pull it gently from my lashes.

I docked it a star as I find it can flake a tad as I'm applying it and I need to always clean up my skin where it falls - though it's easy to clean up with a earbud dipped in eye makeup remover so it's not a big deal but I thought it worth a mention so others can be prepared! I am still glad I bought it because of how it performs on my lashes during this sweltering summer heat - and I am often in the pool/sea swimming so a mascara needs to perform for me!

My best tip would be to give it a good few seconds to dry before blinking or you could end up with a mess to clean up!

I also like the aquamarine blue colour of the lid. The brush is a similar shape to long-shaped christmas tree and it's not a plastic one but more a brush one.

I've never purchased a mascara from Revlon before, but I was searching the market specifically for a tubing mascara to try out, as it seemed like a great new innovative product.

Tubing mascaras are different to regular mascaras in their way of removal at the end of the day - the mascara coats your lash like normal, but when you wish to remove the mascara, the formula retains the shape of your lash and comes away in little 'tubes', and doesn't turn into a black watery mess like regular mascara. It's seriously such a great invention!

The macara tube/canister itself is wide and flattened in shape, and quite heavy. The bristle brush wand has a very elongated pyramid shape and clicks shut when you screw it back into the tube.

I don't really like bristle brush mascaras as I find they make my lashes look clumpy and I don't get the definition I'm after. This is also the case with this mascara. Even when lightly applied, my lashes look quite wirey. If I apply too many coats, my lashes become stiff and heavy and are a bit annoying when I blink.

I never really have a problem with mascaras running on me, so I'm not sure what to comment in that regard, but I didn't have any fall-out or crumbling with this product.

Although I don't enjoy the look of the product on my lashes, there is nothing really wrong with this mascara at all - it is really easy to remove and mess free, which is great after a long day or night out. It is just my preference that I prefer lengthening mascaras over volumising mascaras, so because of that, I don't think I'll purchase this one again. I'd like to try some other tubing mascaras out there.
