Eyeliner hacks you need to know if you have monolids

Knowing which makeup tips will and will not work for you can make a world of difference. If you have monolid eyes, what you need out of your eyeliner or false lashes isn’t going to be the same as what someone with big, wide-set eyes needs, and vice versa. So we like to snap up any eye makeup tips for different eye shapes whenever we can!

A monolid doesn’t have a visible crease line between the eye and the brow area. Often this means a very thick line of eyeliner is needed to get visible wing. But ‘floating liner’ is the eyeliner hack all ladies with monolids should try. One blogger (@workingwithmonolids) has posted her killer winged eyeliner on imgur and explained how she did it. She draws her liner far back from the lash line as if it is floating above it. This way she saves on a LOT of liner.

Not only has she mastered her floating liner, she's also got a hack for the perfect cat eye. To save on her liner, she only creates the part of the wing that will be seen when her eyes are open.

All you need now is a new liquid liner to give these eyeliner hacks a whirl!

This looks like a great hack and as others have said this could also be used for hooded eyes like mine.

Monolids kind of fascinate me, obviously they were an evolutionary adaptation to assist in a specific area, although research still remains on the slim side. Monolids are still seen as, not as pretty and the struggles ladies go to, in trying to replicate a crease or hide a monolid is just amazing. Especially when half the time others do not notice.

That floating liner effect looks good on her. Monolids are not my problem, but it's good to see bh targeting different features.
