Astrid reviews: Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Eyes Mascara
Lancôme Hypnôse mascara was released way back in 2007 and became an instant success. So much so that it was followed by Hypnôse Drama and Hypnôse Precious Cells in 2009 and 2010 respectively. And then Hypnôse Doll Eyes made its debut in 2011, promising women around the world glorious, doll-like lashes.
The mascara claims to sculpt, lengthen and define every single lash, offering a volume-enhancing effect.
bh’s Astrid trialled the mascara and here’s the difference it made to her lashes
“Although the specific effect is to give your eyes a ‘spidery’ look, it's not really my cup of tea. Great mascara, just not the right one for me.”
Astrid recommends Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Eyes for:
Those who want length and that proper doll-eye effect.
“If you’re looking for a mascara that offers instant length and flair, then say hello to Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Eyes Volume Mascara. This mascara made my eyes pop, and I was left with the illusion of spectacularly big, super-duper doll eyes.
I have naturally long lashes, so applying a coat of this is more than enough to give me that dramatic, spidery, wide-eyed look that’s great for night-time, though not particularly appropriate for day. I loved how the flexible wand and cone-shaped brush made for easy application, but found the formula itself was a little prone to clumping. While I prefer a mascara that gives me fuller, thicker, more voluminous lashes rather than length, this product certainly lives up to its name.”
