We spoke with Emmily to discover her holistic beauty approach, her everyday makeup routine and the natural lipstick she uses as cream blush.

What are the 5 beauty products that you can’t live without?

Five beauty products I am loving right now are:

  1. INIKA Organic Certified Organic BB Cream
  2. Ere Perez Versatile Vanilla Highlighter
  3. Edible Beauty No. 3 Exotic Goddess Serum
  4. Weleda Skin Food
  5. Karen Murrell Natural Lipstick

What beauty products do you always carry with you in your handbag?

I love carrying my Hurraw Lip Balm in Cherry. I use it as a lip and cheek tint, so it doubles as a product. I really love my Ere Perez concealer pot for its versatility and size. It’s compact, so it doesn’t take up much room plus doubles as a foundation. I also always make sure to carry a mascara with me and I’m loving INIKA Organic Long Lash Vegan Mascara in black.

Describe your everyday beauty routine?

I like to keep it simple when it comes to looking after my skin. I always make sure to moisturise my face and body with an oil – favourites include anything on a base of jojoba or rosehip, and I include essential oils like Frankincense and Lavender for their antibacterial qualities. I am a big believer in beauty from within, so always ensure I am drinking plenty of water, eating clean, nourishing wholefoods and moving my body every day, to ensure a radiant, dewy glow.

Do you have a go-to everyday makeup look?

I like to keep my everyday look natural and radiant, with a few key products rather than a whole kit of makeup. I use a concealer as foundation to cover hormonal areas of the face, including the nose, chin and forehead.

Next, I’ll use a lipstick as a blush for a radiant glow that’s also quick and easy. Karen Murrell Natural Lipstick in Violet Mousse is a beautiful, nude favourite of mine. I follow with a highlighter on the cheekbones and brow bones – Ere Perez is my favourite. Finally, I finish by colouring my brows with a Lavera brow pencil and slicking on some mascara like INIKA Organic Long Lash Vegan Mascara in black.

What are your top 3 makeup products of all time?

It’s impossible for me to choose, as there are so many amazing products regularly launching, so my favourites are always changing!

Three products I am currently loving are:

  1. Ere Perez concealer pots – they double as a foundation, have a great colour range and offer brilliant coverage.
  2. Weleda Skin Food – a great all-rounder, suitable for all skin types, and can be used as a body and face moisturiser.
  3. INIKA Organic Certified Organic BB Cream – for its beautiful, dewy texture and finish, including natural antioxidants, vitamins and minerals to illuminate the skin.

If you could offer one piece of advice to busy women who struggle to find the time to get their skin looking bright and glowy in the morning, what would it be?

To keep it simple! Remember to highlight your natural beauty – invest in a few key products and try a less is more approach. A simple BB cream and a good highlighter make the world of difference.

Your skin is incredible! What’s your biggest skin care secret?

Truly I believe what we put on the INSIDE is just as important as the products we use of the outside. Our skin is our largest organ, absorbing more than 60% of what we put on it, straight into our bloodstream. I am so incredibly conscious to use only natural, organic beauty products as they are literally feeding our skin. When it comes to that inner glow, I make a conscious effort to ensure wellbeing is optimised on all levels – mind, body and soul. It is truly a holistic beauty approach!

What’s your favourite way to style your hair on an average morning?

I prefer to just leave it natural – my hair tends to do its own thing – sometimes it’s wavy, other times a little straighter than usual. I’ll run a comb through it and be good to go!
