2 ways to wear coloured eyeliner
Some women are all about black eyeliner. Maybe they’ll dabble in the equally-as-classic charcoal or brown. But sometimes those ladies spot a coloured eyeliner so gloriously beautiful that they want to stray away from their conservative roots. And so they buy the coloured liner, only to get home and find themselves at a loss as to how to apply it.
Well, when it comes to coloured eyeliner application, wonder no more. Because this 30-second video covers two easy-peasy ways you can wear it.
The first option is to line your top lash line. To nail this look, remember to start the liner thinner on the inner corner and thicken it as you draw towards the outer corner. If you’re feeling adventurous, give it a little flick at the end. Oh, and make sure there aren’t any gaps between your line and the roots of your lashes.
The second option is to line your bottom waterline. Should you go down this route, choose a waterproof pencil, otherwise the colour won’t last very long.
If you’re not sure what colour to pick, try a shade that will complement your eye colour. I used turquoise, because it works well with brown eyes. If you have green eyes, use a purple or plum eyeliner, and if you have blue eyes, go for a shimmery copper or bronze eyeliner.
As for the rest of your make-up look, keep it simple. The coloured eyeliner should be the focus, so stick to some mascara (and black eyeliner if you’re lining your bottom water line), and a neutral lip.

Great tip about using a waterproof eyeliner if lining the waterline. I much prefer the look she does lining the top. It really suits her, particularly because the vivid blue makes her lovely brown eyes pop out.

I mostly use purple/lilac eyeliner because it goes well with my green eyes. I've tried green eyeliner but it doesn't look so good. I use white on my waterline.

I love coloured eyeliners! I have green, purple and dark blue to name a few. Purple liner definitely looks amazing on hazel eyes but navy blue looks fabulous too. I love the green, but it is definitely the worse looking colour of the three on me.

I like the coloured eye liner but I don't think it would suit me, I would have to tone it down.

I use coloured eyeliner generally in midnight blue or brown. I also love my silver glittery pencil! I buy mine from Jordana cosmetics. I've bought many varieties and never had an issue :)

I use eyeshadows as coloured eyeliners. More versatile , easy to apply too. Also I use them under and above (different colours at the same time as well), sort of Egyptian style

I wear a lilac eyeliner on top lid and a white along the waterline because I think it opens up my eyes and makes them look bright and sparkling.
