When preparing for any big event, we often turn to celebrity runway or red carpet looks for inspiration. And let’s face it, what bigger runway is there than a wedding aisle? While some obsess over the dress, the romance, the star-studded guest lists or the lavish locations, we’re always looking straight to the glam. Hair up? Hair down? Neutral nails? A gloss or a lipstick? There’s a lot to consider.
Plus, with so many celeb weddings in the pipeline, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, Kourtney and Travis, we thought it made complete and total sense to take a look back at some of our favourite celebrity bridal looks to date.
Alexandria Daddario
In the latest swoon-worthy celebrity wedding, Alexandra Daddario, (most recently known for her role in The White Lotus), married her producer partner, Andrew Form. The summertime New Orleans nuptials meant Alexandra had only one requirement for her bridal glam: “I wanted it to feel like it worked in the heat,” she told Vogue. So, did her final look pass the humidity-proof test? According to an Instagram post by her hairstylist Jennifer Jane, heck yes it did. “We nailed it on all counts, she looked amazing right up until the end,” she gushed.
Kourtney Kardashian
Kourtney’s third and (maybe) final look as a bride has been well worth the wait. As of this moment we only have paparazzi photos and a select few blurry Instagram posts to go off, but it appears Kourtney’s veil secured a ’60s-style beehive updo, a smokey eye and what looks like a nude lip.
Chloë Sevigny
Chloe Sevigny, otherwise known as the coolest ‘it girl’ in New York, kept her wedding look surprisingly traditional. The white dress and white church were complemented by soft, radiant makeup and an elegant slicked-back low bun.
Kourtney Kardashian
After their false start ‘practice wedding’ in Vegas, Kourtney and Travis made things official during an intimate ceremony in Santa Barbara. In keeping with the low-key ceremony, Kourtney wore her hair pulled back in a traditional updo, secured with a delicate veil. With rumours of an extravagant Italian ceremony to follow, stay tuned for Kourtney’s (third?) wedding look for 2022…
Whitney Port
Not only did Whitney rock a dress that showed off her long legs, but she embellished her simple bun with green leaves, which in our opinion made her look like a tropical goddess! We’re also big fans of the flush of pink worn on her lips.
Gwen Stefani
During her wedding to Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani kept her glam very on brand as she rocked her signature red lip and full inky black lashes down the aisle.
Shanina Shaik
Behind Shanina’s wedding day glam was celebrity makeup artist, Rae Morris. According to a product breakdown shared to Instagram by Rae, M.A.C Studio Face & Body ($71, M.A.C) and Stila’s Convertible Colour cream blush ($37, MECCA) were among the products used to create Shanina’s no-makeup makeup look.
Meghan Markle
Meghan Markle’s freckles stole the show at her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018. While her complexion and lips were kept minimal, Meghan’s makeup was all about the lashes. “I wanted her eyes to almost ‘flutter’ as she looked up at Harry (he’s 6’1”),” her makeup artist Daniel Martin told Glamour. “I customized and shaped out some corner lashes to give her that doe-eye look, pulling them out on the outer corners. This added weight to her natural lashes without looking heavy.”

Fresh off a weekend spent attending her son Brooklyn’s wedding, nearly 25 years ago Victoria and David celebrated their own nuptials. VB sported a short hairstyle, while she kept her makeup natural and dewy with a coat of nude gloss and highlighter across her cheek and brow bone.
Jasmine Tookes
Though the ceremony itself had everything in excess, Leah Darcy (Jasmine’s go-to MUA) kept the bridal glam simple. “We went for our classic look of warm brown tones and a neutral lip,” Leah shared in an Instagram caption. To create the glowing base, Leah used the Hourglass Cosmetics Vanish Liquid Foundation ($84, MECCA), paired with a Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer in the shade ‘Mocha Mami’ ($48, Sephora).
Kate Middleton
With a wedding broadcast across 180 countries and access to any makeup artist on the globe, Kate Middleton decided to go down an unexpected route for her wedding day glam. The artist behind the stunning silver smokey eye, glowy complexion and flushed pink cheeks was none other than Kate herself.
