Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara Reviews

It really adds volume to your lashes and lives up to it's name of Manga because you look cute but gorgeous just like a Manga Anime character. The wand is also easy to use and I love the packaging colour as it stands out in my make up bag! It seems to also last a fair bit of time as you don't need to apply much to get the look.

I used (and LOVED) this mascara for awhile before I thought I would take a break and try some different brands. After experimenting with various other mascaras, I am back to this one. I wear contact lenses so don't really want to wear false lashes, but this mascara does the job for me. It lengthens and volumises and never flakes or clumps. On days when I can't be bothered I can just do my brows, powder my face, pop a bit of this on and I'm feeling presentable.
I haven't found another mascara yet that does the same thing as this one.

This mascara was my holy grail before I tried some other L'Oreal mascaras, Lash Paradise and Miss Manga which I'm in love with. I really like the wand as it's quite thin and flexible. It's very soft and and easy to use especially on the lower lashes.

The mascara itself is really nice, it lengthens lashes and volumizes them, making them look doll-like and dramatic. It separates them nicely and gives the beautiful effect even after only one coat.

I do not like layering this because it can look a little bit clumpy.

As for longevity, it's not smear and waterproof and it also flakes a little bit.

I still really like this mascara but I don't reach for it that often anymore, just because I have some other mascaras that work better and that look more dramatic which is the most important thing for me.

One of the first drugstore mascaras that I actually enjoyed after many many years of searching.
The brush was great, really nice and flexible and I found it separated my lashes really great.
However I am someone that likes to layer my mascara to really look nice and dark and voluminous, but I found that this product does like to clump after one too many layers.

I found it worked well even without needing an eyelash curler. I really enjoyed it, definitely gave my lashes a more fuller look.

I purchased this mascara at full price after reading RAVING reviews and I honestly could not be more disappointed in a mascara!

I strongly believe that the finish of a mascara is personal and understand how different people like different finishes to their lashes so it is always hard to read reviews on a mascara but I was hating this before I even applied this to my lashes.

I purchased this in the colour black and after opening it noticed the tapered end. First I noticed how thick, firm and short the bristles of the brush were - towards the end of the brush it was pretty much the tubing without bristles. When I applied it, hardly any of the product applied to my lashes and it clumped them. The more I brushed it out the worse it got. Even after wiping the brush a huge clump of product went into the corner of my eye and I had to use a cotton tip to wipe up and tidy. Second there is a connector in the middle of the applicator that allows the brush to bend...I hate it! When trying to apply the product, the brush bends so the lashes won’t press into the brush and it’s really hard to brush them through.

Unfortunately as mascara is the last product you would use in your makeup routine it ruined my look for the day. I totally regret buying this for the one use and such a waste to throw away a full product. I’ve never experienced using a mascara that I would not use again therefore this would be the worst mascara I have tried.

At first I was looking forward to this product as it said it makes your lashes long and flawless it did a little bit it was very clumpy on my lashes and think I found i closed my eyes and it would run I was a little disappointed dude to it looked amazing and I was egger to try the water proff and the same thing happened I was very disappointed

I had been using a fibre lash product that was applied in 2 steps previously and saw the Miss Manga advertised on TV.
After tracking it down and purchasing, I have to say I love love love the end results of this mascara. It has cut my morning routine down by half and has pretty much given me the same effect by layering the mascara. Once I learnt the best way to apply it for the desired effect, I never looked back. I love the doll eyed look and the layering gives me the length I desire. Being a trusted brand, I have no irritation that I get from the cheaper brands. I just love it - This is now my go to mascara :)

I always seem to enjoy using L'Oreal mascaras and I always think they are the best value for money but this time I feel a bit disappointed. I did not get it when it was hyped about, I got it a bit later, I just wanted to try it, was looking for a new mascara and it was on special, so why not.
The packaging is gorgeous, I love the mix of black and metallic pink colours, the tube is very sleek too and not too chunky. The formula seems nice too, not too runny and not too thick, but what put me off is the actual wand, not even the brush. The wand seems to be too flexible, too wobbly, I can't do my lashes properly. I have got the impression that my lashes are stronger than the wand/brush. The brush itself has got a tapered shape, and I think it is ok, although it might distribute too much of the product.
After a bit of a practice I can say the mascara itself is very decent but the wand makes me omit that mascara more often than not.
Overall, in my opinion Miss Manga is more lengthening than thickening. It elongates the lashes beautifully, but the volume it gives lacks that extra oomph. Black is black enough but not spectacular black. It does curl lashes a bit. As usual, it gets better as it "ages". It will not flake off or smudge. It is easily removed with any micellar water. If applied in excess, it will stick lashes together, not the best for combing through.

I personally have long lashes that lack a bit of a volume, and while this mascara does not provide a great amount of volume, the effect is still dramatic as it is lengthening and makes my lashes really fluttery and therefore fuller. I tend to stick to waterproof mascaras, but I purchased the non waterproof version and it holds a curl really well and does not flake on me. This has quickly become one of my favourites (my HG are the collasal by Maybelline and Voluminous by Loreal)
