Hollywood is a glamorous place. That’s why whenever we go sleuthing for the exact beauty products used on movie sets, we’re always preparing ourselves for high prices and luxury brands. So when we discovered Margot Robbie’s Wuthering Heights lip colour costs less than $8 at Priceline, we were, well, pretty ecstatic…

What lip colour is Margot Robbie wearing in Wuthering Heights?

Margot’s character, Cathy, has some truly incredible makeup looks, with multiple layers of blush, star-shaped eyeliner and shimmering gemstones all applied to her face within the movie.

What really caught our eye, however, was the perfect your-lips-but-better pinky-plum shade she’s wearing on her lips.

As soon as we saw it we had questions. What brand is it?! What shade is it? And most importantly, what price is it?!

Now we have answers. In a chat with Allure, Siân Miller, the hair and makeup designer for Wuthering Heights shared that Margot’s wearing the Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm in ‘Rose’ ($7.79 at Priceline) in many scenes in the movie.

While she does wear the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in ‘Pillow Talk’ ($54 at Charlotte Tilbury) for the moments at the Grange home, Siân often favoured the Burt’s Bees balm to add colour to Margot’s lips without creating any obvious lip lines.

The balm is definitely one of our long-time favourites (and yours too, based on the rave reviews). Here’s what a few of our trusty beautyheaven members had to say about the formula…

What beautyheaven members love about Margot Robbie’s Wuthering Heights lip colour…

Amanda738 mentioned loving “how lightweight and comfortable it feels without feeling sticky or heavy, making it ideal for everyday wear.”

GigiandBobbi shared that the “texture is so beautiful and smooth” and that “you can build up the colour a bit by adding more layers.”

MoonlightSak16 said the Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm delivers a “subtle tint and polish”, “moisturises your lips for a long time”, and even helps her look “more put together when not wearing any makeup.”

So there you have it: whether you’re using it to help your bare face look a little more ‘done’ or pairing it with rhinestones on cheeks like Margot, it’s clearly a winning formula!

  1. Wow! I couldn’t have guessed that. I love Burt’s Bees tinted lip balms (my favourite shade is Hibiscus), layer them on lip pencils and you get a beautiful long-lasting lip colour minus the dryness

  2. I would never have guessed. It makes sense to go for a “natural” look for screen when colour is still needed to not wipe out the actor out by the harsh lighting and editing.
