Mario Dedivanovic is launching makeup brushes into Sephora

Few things bring us more joy than a really good beauty collab. And Sephora have just announced one for the ages: their partnership with makeup maestro and Kardashian contour king, Mario Dedivanovic (AKA Makeup by Mario).

Mario took to Instagram to announce the news: “WOW!! This was the hardest secret to keep! My final collaboration [of] 2019!! I couldn’t be more excited to announce #MakeupByMarioXSephora !!!! My first-ever brush collaboration launching globally @sephora ‪on December 26.”

But here’s the real kicker – Mario actually used to work instore at Sephora. “When I stepped foot into Sephora 19 years ago and was hired first in fragrance then as a beauty advisor, my life changed forever. I discovered my natural talent there and I dreamed and manifested that I would work really hard and I would do something big with Sephora one day. It actually happened! Even bigger then I dreamed,” he shared.

And he’s as grateful for the opportunity as we are for the collab. “Right before my 20th year as an artist which will be the next chapter for me in 2020. A full circle moment,” he says. “I can’t even begin to put into words what this means to me.” No, we’re not tearing up, it’s allergies…

As for whether us Aussies will get the chance to shop the range, we have excellent news. “This collab launches 26/12/2019 in store and online globally in over 25 countries,” Mario confirms. And yes, they’re going to be luxe as hell; each brush features a brushed bronze handle (chic) and vegan, synthetic fibres (even better), plus they all come housed in super sleek brush pouches.
