Are you too old to get a tattoo?

Have you ever wondered whether you’re too old to get a tattoo? According to British researchers, if you’re over the age of 31 (like 39-year-old tattoo lover Angelina Jolie), then the answer is yes.
Their survey, which polled 1,000 men and women about age-appropriate fashion and behaviour, also found that high heels shouldn’t be worn by anyone over the age of 32. (Blasphemy!)
Men were also targeted by the scathing survey results, prohibited from growing goatees after the age of 34.
Interestingly, bikinis had more staying power, considered appropriate on women up to the age of 48.
Well, at least older ladies can still show a bit of skin – even if it’s thought that it should be ink-free!
What do you think of the survey’s findings? Do you think they're reasonable or overly conservative?

Oh this is pretty funny! If I took the results as truth, at least I'd be legal wearing my bikinis! I'm 48!!

I think people should do what they want. Bear in mind though if you get a tattoo at 31 it will probably be still there at 60.

I have a friend who got her first tattoo when she turned 50. It's your body and your choice. I personally wouldn't get one.

I think Angie looks great for her age, so it shouldn't matter.

Not another stupid survey conducted by people who have too much time on their hands and money to waste. Do people seriously care what results they come up with? If someone wants to have a tattoo, that is none of my business.

As long as your not hurting anyone (or breaking a law), I think you should do and wear what you want. what I think what curious is saying that over 31 is too old to get a tattoo, what about the tattoos that are already there?

Ha ha ha - I love these "controversial" surveys and the reactions they get!! As if anyone's going to stop wearing high heels after 32 - Choo & Louboutin would be out of business!!

LOL what a pile of crap.. No high heels over 32? Seriously ... And as for the tattoos, i got my first at 37 or 38 after very careful consideration, I now have 4, shoulderblade, spine and 2 large peices on each hip and rib cage. I adore my tattoos and would not change them for anything, and personally don't give a rats what anyone else thinks of them!

What a stupid survey who has the right to dictate what to do at what age. I'll do what I want until I can't do it anymore. As far as bikinis go I probably wear one until my dying day.

As far as high heels go, I'll be wearing them until I can't walk anymore. Heels are so flattering and gorgeous. If you're comfortable with the way you are then so be it!

HA! There should be no age limit for these things, people can do whatever makes them feel happy.

All I know is - when you're 50, the tattoos you have from your twenties will look sad all the same. And high heals - yes if you can't walk in them properly any more. Not that some women ever have. If you're 20, ask your best friend (or your mom) to watch you walk. If you can't make it look well, better go lower.
