Find out what's really in your face wipes
Face wipes may all seem like much of a muchness, but as our most recent ‘scientific experiment’ revealed, not all face wipes are actually created equal. Watch our video above to see what happens when we put the all-natural WOTNOT Facial Wipes up against a selection of leading competitor face wipes on the market. You may be surprised at the results…What do you look for a in face wipe? Are you cautious about what you put on your skin?

I also keep them on my bedside drawer. I prefer a full clense, although wipes can be handy as a last resort.

I use face wipes when I am lazy at the end of the night and just want to quickly cleanse my face.

Wonder who the competitor brands are. I like wotnot wipes but I tend to only use wipes straight after the gym on a regular so I just look for something cheaper for that occasion. Definitely would recommend these wipes for removing makeup and not leaving skin dry.

I often use wipes, I find them really gentle for removing eye makeup. Always gentle wipes but not the wotnot brand.

I pretty much only use wipes when I’m travelling to cut down on weight limits

Wipes are definitely a great convenient option, don't get me wrong. They are also brilliant if you are travelling and need to cut down on what you're packing. However, nothing will ever beat completing a full cleanse routine.

I use wipes rarely, mostly for travel but of all the ones I’ve tried I prefer the Simple brand ones.

I keep wipes in my bedside drawers: I only used them when I'm really tired or have a migraine. Otherwise, I prefer a proper, full cleanse.
I rather like Wotnot wipes, but I don't buy the "science" in this old article.

You could say this about a lot of products we put on our skin. I look at ingredients and avoid certain ones. I'm a huge fan of wipes for emergency only but I only use for things like makeup remover because I'll be washing again. My skin won't be feeling properly clean otherwise.

Have just started using face wipes but more as a “I’m so tired and it’s so late I can’t be bothered using my normal cleanser “ thing.

Though WotNot doesn't feel as weird on my skin compared to other brands I am still not a fan. I prefer to use other facial cleaning products.
Interesting video though.

Another reason I don't like face wipes! I have used Wotnot baby wipes and it seemed to froth up so I only use Water Wipes for my kids

In general face wipes are not that great for the skin and should only be used as the last resort. Although I will confess that I use them much more than I should when I'm tired or in a hurry and need to get my make up off.

Olivia, who is credited with writing this, hasn't been part of BH for years.
I was really disappointed that Wotnot have outsourced their wipes to China.

I always double cleanse and rinse off with water so nothing stays on my face whether I remove makeup with miceller water or wipes (which I don't really use for face anyways).

Wotnot's look like they'd biodegrade better and/or faster from watching that!
