Natural beauty tool must have!
If you like to just apply and run, this probably isn't for you... or if you like super dramatic, visibly intense makeup. But this it really helps brush out your brows and lashes in an extremely gentle, natural way.
Regularly using makeup is really hard on your lashes and brows and every time a hair falls out on its own I cringe, even though I know it's supposed to happen, it definitely happens more when you mess with them more.
This tool helps you extremely gently style your brows and lashes without pulling at them, creating a "natural beauty" type look without pulling at the hairs too roughly.
The difference between this and any other similar product for me is the material. It is feels less hard and "aggressive" and is subtle, soft and easier to control.

Like all other real techniques brushes, this brush is of really good quality and looks really nice too. It is a very basic brush and I can only use it to groom my brows and to take off excess mascara from my lashes.
I do like the fact that the comb part is metal though, it is a lot easier to clean and it is much finer than plastic ones I have tried in the past. This one is a lot easier to get into the lashes and separate them.

perfects lashes with a few combs
The metal comb is the ideal tool for combing the lashes. The fact it has no edge makes it easy to use. This is great for separating clumpy mascara applications. It's also great for getting rid of excess mascara from the lashes. it is easy to clean using alcohol or warm soapy water.
Clean after each use to decrease risk of contamination

A good buy, but not essential
I saw a demonstration of this brush on the RT website and couldnt resist it when I saw how well this brush seemed to remove mascara clumps from eye lashes. Plus it was so cheap on IHerb.
The metal tooth comb side of the brush works very well at separating lashes and removing mascara clumps. However Im not much of a fan of the brow groomer and I think this is due to the bristles being so long. I much prefer use a spooly to brush and tidy my brows.
Previously I used a spooly to separate my lashes and remove excess mascara, but the metal tooth comb works much better.
A good buy for me as I prefer it over spooly's for my lashes, however not an essential makeup brush buy for your brush collection.
Jump onto the Real Techniques website to see 'how to' videos on all of their brushes.

I purchased this simply because:
1. It has a metal comb &
2. It was on sale!
I have bought one eyebrow groomer after another only because the little prongs on the eyelash comb keep breaking off as they are plastic. I had one I had just purchased from priceline and it only lasted about a month or so because they all broke off in my make up bag!
I came across this brush only because my friend was looking at them, and grabbed it without hesitation just because the comb was metal! LOL and it is great! The comb separates my lashes perfectly! and the brush seems to comb out and blend my eyebrows really well after using my eyebrow powder.
If you just groom your brows without any product on them then yes this may seem like any other brush. However I use it to soften the harshness of the wax and powder I use to fill them in, making it look a lot more natural.
The only downfall would probably be the price, but like I said this was on sale when I purchased it so this really wasn't much of an issue for me.
I'm just happy I don't have to worry about broken combs anymore!!

Great quality, but too overpriced!
I have tried other new cheap lash & brow groomers before and this definitely is a much high quality tool.
First off I love that the lash comb, it is metal and it does make a big difference, there is better separation and it acts more like a comb unlike other plastic ones I have tried. Personally I don't feel those plastic ones work very well, this one works a lot better and I think that has everything to do with the metal. A warning is to be careful when using it because the last thing you want is to hurt your eye with it.
I do love that it comes with a cover which is nice and hygienic so you can put it in your bag and travel with it as well as make sure no mascara gets on other things.
The brow groomer is very nice, it is soft but still dense and a little thicker than other ones I have seen which I like and I think it works really nicely.
Overall it does what it's suppose to do and I think it performs better than other options out there. That being said it is quite expensive and I could not recommend paying $15 for a lash & eyebrow groomer (that is why I took off a star). I would wait till there was a sale or buy it online if you really wanted it and you feel like it would be a tool that you would use enough.
If you put a little bit of eyeshadow (whatever matches your natural brow colour) on the brow brush/ groomer and just brush that through your brows it will give a really natural and quick fullness to your eyebrows, without being too much.
Make sure to wipe the mascara off the lash comb, you could use a little oil or water but you have to make sure to make sure you dry it properly.
Someone not happy with plastic lash combs and really wants a good quality lash & brow comb and doesn't mind the price.

A good choice
I love the quality of this lash-brow groomer. The handle is a nice length, not too short or not too long. I liked the idea of the metal spikes, which were tightly compacted and were great for separating lashes after applying mascara. Although, I have poked myself a few times in the eye. The bristles on the other side are just like your ordinary lash-brow groomer.

In my experience any eye brow spooly/brow brush works all the same.. The metal teeth are good for seperaying lashes though :)

Firstly like all Real Techniques the lash-brow groomer is of incredible quality. I personally really like that the lash separator side is made of small metal prongs as all my other brand ones in the past have snapped as they've been made of plastic. The bristles on the other side are firmer than you're average brow groomer too and as I have fuller brows I find this handy and helps evenly distribute brow pencil and gel.
They're super easy to clean and fits in perfectly with my other brushes in the Samantha Chapman velcro case.
I do however suggest you buy them online at iHerb for literally less than half the price of local stockists.

Great little tool
I really like this lash/brow groomer. I love being able to remove the clumps in my lashes with the lash part of the brush. It does look a bit scary/daunting when you think about the silver spikes near your eyes but I have not once stabbed myself In the eye with it, so it is safe to use :) Also the brow part of it is great as the bristles are quite firm unlike the other brow brushes I have tried previously.
I use a wiggling movement when I run the lash part of the brush through my lashes and that really helps to separate my lashes and remove any clumps.

This product is like every other lash-brow groomer. Nothing special or wowing about it. It's over priced too.
