Video: Chanel two-minute challenge – our top two

Don’t be fooled beauties, working at beautyheaven is one tough gig – especially when you have to decide who did the best job in recreating the latest Chanel look. Let me tell you, it was definitely a challenge (I’m clearly referring to my role as judge. The lengths our entrants went to in creating an intricate smoky eye and flushed cheek in only two minutes couldn’t possibly compare).
I’ve finally settled on my favourite two – those submitted by LilyPilly and Melissa5929. Congrats ladies, you two did a fabulous job!
So have a watch of each of their two-minute challenges (one will go live with this blog, the other at 5pm) - bet you could learn a thing or two about creating this gorgeous Chanel make-up look!
First up, here is LilyPilly’s Chanel two-minute challenge entry…

@Ariana82 the curler is from Laura Mercier - I love it to bits too and its much better than the conventional metal curlers as it suits my eye shape more. It's available in Myer and DJs for $35 I believe (which is a bit exy for a tool but lasts a long time and comes with an extra silicone pad so is a good long term investment).

good luck to Mel and Lillipilly. I can't believe how good your eyes looked after only 2 mins. Mine wouldn't look anywhere near that. You make me want to practice Lillypilly...

thanks all. I did prefill my brows and put on my base to even out my skintone before doing the challenge.
@Blissful Beauty - I have very pigmented lips and they are naturally quite coloured. I was playing around to find the right colour lips and my lips were stained with all the different colours I was trying on and wiping off with a tissue. I think the last colour I tried and pretty much wiped off was Chi Chi's lip pencil in "Bliss"
