When Rihanna announced in May last year that she would be launching her own makeup brand, we got our credit cards out and sat by our laptops waiting for more news. And now, RiRi has finally revealed what we’ve all been waiting for – the first look at her new beauty brand Fenty Beauty by Rihanna!
The beauty brand now has an official Instagram account (@fentybeautycosmetics), which gave us our first glimpse of the new product – a holographic lipstick!

“This holographic lip color is set to be the first product released under the long-awaited makeup label Fenty Beauty by Rihanna,” the caption reads. “This product will be available to purchase at Sephora stores this fall. Stay tuned for more.”

And I know what you’re thinking – this is probably going to be another one of those beauty brands that isn’t available Down Under. But think again because Rihanna also posted an image of all the countries that will be stocking Fenty Beauty – including Australia!
Understandably, everyone has gone completely crazy over the news. Some fans are hoping Rihanna’s foray into makeup will see the cosmetics world become a more inclusive place. “This is amazing! Finally someone with real style and a woman of color that will inspire us brown/black women with correct colors to suit us!” wrote one Instagram user.

And while the brand won’t be launching until later this year, we’re sure this is just the beginning of sneak peeks from RiRi. Bring it on, Queen Rih!
